The ipad is working perfectly, except for the drained battery (which I don't have time to boost/revive due to the nature of my job) a crack on the screen. If you can revive the battery you will enjoy the Ipad. Call or whatsapp 08164485380 for more info.

To change the battery, the screen has to be replaced. So basically, you'd have to change the battery and the screen.

Was TouchID functional prior to the damage?

No that's totally wrong ... the screen is separate from the battery

the battery over - discharged so the protection circuit is triggered and isolated the battery from further discharged. You have to remove it and boost it to a certain level so as to disengage the protection circuit and reactivate the charging system. Read about it online.

The touch screen is cracked but was functional.

Obviously this a light-out motherboard issue! Boost the battery via desktop battery booster and charge it 100%, believe me it'll need another boosting to power up again if the battery runs out again.
