Warning: to all the trolls on this thread Be warned - there is a code of conduct for trolling - you can only (and i repeat) only troll on a thread after it has served its purpose. @op, this kind of error happens when MySQL is getting way too many requests, like when the traffic of a website goes up and the site can no longer cope with the traffic - or faulty server if you are dealing with offline server. If you are running on localhost and you are running packages that consume a lot of memory like magento for example, and your PC is not powerful in terms of R.A.M, well, MySQL will simply go away.
