My Experience Buying A Car From Lade007 by Innovictor: 9:52pm On Jun 04, 2017
So, here goes my experience buying a car from a Nairalander Lade007 in May. I saw Lade's post about buying cars from Germany—same as anyone else – I never knew or had any contact with him before now.

I beeped him via WhatsApp telling him about my interest in a Peugeot 407 or Passat CC. I told him my preferred specs and he gave me a price range. He, however, surprised me by giving me a number of German auto websites where I could search for cars – in case I could find a better deal.

Check 1- giving me the auto sites means I could see the ACTUAL cost price of any car I wanted to buy without any markup –
A couple of weeks later, I found one sweet Peugeot 607 with my preferred specs. I contacted him and he told me he'll get started on it the next day. The next day, I was at work when Lade's call came in. He was calling to tell me that he had already driven to where the car was in another city and he wanted to send me fresh pictures via WhatsApp.

He sent in the pictures showing all the parts of the car –interior and exterior. He even called my attention to an error message on the MFD. I told him to make some other checks and he carried out all the checks. He also renegotiated the asking price and a 100 EUR discount on the car. He then told me that if I was good with the car, I should send an advance and he'll get the car started on its way to Nigeria.

Check 2—Lade was diligent enough to find out everything about the car for me just as if he was buying the car for himself, a friend, or a family member. He also got me the best price possible.

He loaded the car up on a flatbed truck, I was getting picture updates and WhatsApp messages until the car reached the port in Hamburg. The car came in with a full-size extra tire and additional four sizes 17" winter tires.

The car shipped a couple of days later and Lade kept me in the loop until the ship berthed a couple of weeks later. He also gave me the option of clearing it myself or through my agent, but I choose to clear it through his agent.

The car was cleared in 3 days (took that long because of port wahala) and it was on its way to me in no time. When the car was eventually delivered, I told Lade to get a new phone because the car looked astonishingly better in real life than in pictures.
I paid up the balance on the car and I got the car in great shape with ALL accessories (foot mat, battery, extra tires, jack, car cover, and manual) intact.

If you are still skeptical about buying a car from Lade007, you are missing a potentially great deal that comes with unmistakable peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend Lade007, you ain't gonna regret buying a car from him.

This ain't no paid review and I can supply you with pictures if you need more proof.

I know that this post is long, but Lade deserves all the accolades he can get and more for the quality of his service.

Business is not run on luck.

First starting enthusiastically...

He drives to another city. Wife helps. family supports.

After orders become regular.

His job is at risk. family tired of helping. he's tired of the whole process. Customers call at night, on weekends. no respect for him. Over how much? 100, 200, 300 euros?

Then he's no choice but to get tired of doing everything by himself. invoice by himself. customer service by himself. and customer complaints.. and some customers that'll make him drive into the cold and not turn up.

So, he cracks. Service goes poor, cos he don't want the worst job in the world where he's to be everything for everybody every time.

If he wants to do it better than the likes of inspired.... or others who have come and go, then he needs to give a deadline to what he started. document the process, and replace himself with someone else, who can sustain it. and report to another person.

My thoughts. Could be wrong though.

Look at the kind of question you are asking on a faceless forum.
You expect him to give you his full name and his office address right?
You can as well ask for his home address

Thank you so much for the nice review. I am so glad to have gotten the car for you. It was really nice doing business with you. Mr Victor is a kind customer that makes business transactions easy, humble and knows exactly what he wants in a car.Permission to post some more pictures of the car bro?

The picture below shows the car sitting on the extra 4 tyres that came with it.

Thanks for the insightful comments. I have been in this auto business for a while now at least more than 10 years. Along the years I have learnt that not all deals are worth getting involved in. There are so many nairalanders I have told at some point that I can't take their offer simply because of some conditions I can't beat at that moment. I will never let greed set in this business as I have always cautioned and checked myself from the onset.

What year of these vehicles do you want?

To order from me, the steps are as follows:
- We look for the car you want to order
- We agree on the price
- You pay a deposit of 40%
- I buy and ship the car
- Car arrives in Nigeria after 3-5 weeks and I clear it at the port
- You pick the car at the port or I deliver to your address in Lagos and you pay the balance as soon as you see the car before the documents and kay are handed over to you.

Hope to read from you again

Shipping and clearing price is not fixed. While shipping price depends on the size of car and location in Germany, clearing fee depends on the year of manufacture and the make of the vehicle. So if you are more specific I can give you an exact price for shipping and a rough estimate for clearing

Hello once again.....I have checked for both cars. I only got models from 2011 of the Chevrolet Cruze and it will cost you 3.1mil plus clearing in Nigeria.

For Mazda 6 from 2005 model, you need 1.6mil plus clearing in Nigeria. Both cars are automatic transmission

Your order takes 3-5 weeks from the day of the initial deposit
