Vandalised tutorial materials in the tutorial section of the mosque meant for free tutorials for 'freshers' who lack the understanding of the University system. Even Christians attend these tutorials. Curses like CHM and PHY and MTH etc.

The section is also used for Islamic classes such as Arabic language, Creed, jurisprudence and recitation of the Quran.

@Op, what exactly do you want to get from this publication? Sympathy? Because I dunno the reason you failed to start your story from the beginning.
Some months ago some students (both male and female) were said to be locked up in the famous awo hall practicing what can be related to the beginning of Islamic extremism cos the ladies in the mosque was prevented from attending lectures all the In the name of prayer.
Since then the management has been planning to stop all religious activities in all halls residence.

to be candid and if we read throught the post, we can read the intention of the op.Looking at the headlines of this post and then reading the post was to say that the Muslims were victimised.I must say that this event happened since last year (2016) .Why is it being brought on nairaland now if not to cause division among xtians and muslims.I must say that we shud be careful about what we post,posting anything without true facts is a crime and you could end up being sued for deformation of character.the op accused the dean of student affairs of being against muslims,a clear deformation of character.You need to ammend your ways and for once be truthful.Nobody who reads this post will not see that you are biased and you are an agent of hatred to the society of peace.

Well threads were created when the issue started, many people didn't see it because it didn't make front-page, the one-sided story of the OAU peeps is what made the front-page back then.

This is a university not primary school. even secondary school students have free periods. Not everyone is comfortable with the way of life their roommates lead. So instead of wasting time gisting in the halls they spend their free time in the mosques.

I wonder why people are so gullible to accept her flimsy claims.
