So it's become a matter of the religion of a single person instead of looking out for what benefits the whole nation? But Nigeria could have sent the VP there.

Attending ECOWAS summit is for the strategic good of the country. Attending the summit does not mean the country should necessarily strike a deal with Israel. And funny enough I know Israeli companies who have been operating in Nigeria since the early 90s and winning big government contracts even till date. How about that?
