Going to school has nothing to do with this. China one of the major developed in technology still practice their traditional rites and believes yet they are well schooled. If the traditional rulers/worshippers says its sacred to them yes I agree with them. Imagine if its a church or a mosque that requires relocation I know majority here will cry foul saying one religion is against them because of bigotry.

If a church says give me money to go and rebuild my church somewhere since this one is causing obstruction for development. Everyone would have signed it and okay it. My brother what is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

No no sir, that's not it. Do not say it makes no sense just because you aren't affected in particular. Okay lemme ask, if they have said since it's a sacred tree, the government should provide just 1 peace of kolanut which is not more that 20 naira, would you go against it?

Yes the tree is not gonna spend the money same way God is not spending the money we pay as offerings and tithes every Sunday. It is meant for those that believe in whatever they believe in.
