After 3 Years Of Job Search, See What Happened In My Life by Dpredictor(m): 11:21am On Jun 08, 2017
I graduated in 2013 and served Nigeria in 2014. I knew I didn't spend my money learning any of those things and skills in camp. I thought I just wanted to be an accountant. The first year passed, the second year passed, and the third year was speedily passing. I traveled from one state to another just to know if I could get a job. All the jobs I got was paying below 20,000 naira and that wasn't what I wanted for myself.

A friend advised me t come to Lagos and stay with him at Gbagada. I obeyed and finally came here. I read a post on FP on how to use churches as a means of getting jobs. I started going to church and I became very active in my church. It was a big church, and I made my presence felt.

After a while, a popular IT firm came a partnered with our church just to train some youths on ICT. Being so active, I was selected to be among the 10 youths they selected to learn web design and web development. Towards the ending of my training, I got an Invite from a firm I never applied for, asking me to come for an interview for the job of a Web Development Intern.

I wasn't even asked for my B.sc. I was only asked some technical questions which I answered with ease and also showed the practical aspect of it.

Just few months back, I was asked to start my job and as an Intern for 6 months, I was placed on a salary of 60,000 Naira. After 6 months like my contract said, "Your salary will be reviewed and it will be in line with the industry's standard." I later got to know that the IT firm was responsible for my placement.

I wanted to share this testimony since, but I decided to wait so as to collect my second month salary, make e no be say na April fool dem do me. cheesy

To God be the glory who made all things work for me. God bless Nairaland and all reasonable contributors in this forum.

God bless lalasticlala and seun wink

I would have uploaded my pay cheque as a proof, but it will look somehow... I no fit shout.

Please, don't take advantage of this testimony to dupe unsuspecting applicants. I've encountered people like you before.

We organize seminars and workshop almost all the time for people to learn various skills.

If you have any negative report against IIHT Nigeria, do well to bring it out to the public.

Thanks.

It's still ok for a beginner but I consider that job with 60k salary as a no job. So to me u are still unemployed.
I pray God give u a better job at least 200k/month.
