deomelo:Deomelo, you are the one writing hate speeches here. We are only trying to analyze an executive governor travelling for more than an hour to commission a milk collection centre and his Ogun state counterpart going to commission a one room manufacturing unit in Procter & Gamble plant in Agbara. As a citizen we expect bigger things from these governors considering the resources at their disposal. Don't forget the same P&G just shut down its factory in Ibadan last year June and relocated to Agbara, Ogun state just because of bad road in Oluyole industrial estate. That's a big loss for Ajimbobi considering the fact that the company paid the highest salary per staff in Oyo state. |

decatalyst:Can you show us the achiement of both first and second term of Dickson of Bayelsa despite huge allocation? 2 Local Government in oyo state is bigger than Bayelsa even in population.. |

Ologuneruagba:This plant in Oyo state created for jobs and feeds tens of thousands of families so I'll take this over whatever you are talking about in ogun even though I love and appreciate P&G in Ogun. Your priorities are just misplaced because you are so fixated on personalities instead of the thousands of people benefiting from and feeding their families because of plants and expansions by investors like WAMCO. As a citizen, we expect bigger things from these governors considering the resources at their disposal. What are you analyzing? So if any job-creating investor invited you to participate in any commissioning, your answer is going to be CAPTAL NO, because some some confused and misguided analyzer won't like it? We expect bigger things from every public official in Nigeria including governors and the FG, but to insinuate that jobs for tens of thousands of people is not bigger things means you are either contradicting yourself, confused or just don't know what you are talking about. What is bigger things? Don't forget the same P&G just shut down its factory in Ibadan last year June and relocated to Agbara, Ogun state just because of bad road in Oluyole industrial estate. That's a big loss for Ajimbobi considering the fact that the company paid the highest salary per staff in Oyo state.Stop confusing yourself, P/G is still in Ibadan, they only expanded their operations with the new $300 million manufacturing plant in Ogun. Another major investor, Elixir Global Manufacturing Food Limited expanded into Ibadan by buying P&G's Ibadan Healthcare Plant. The purchase of the Ibadan plant combined with the BLA, gives Elixir Global a ready made market to begin with and also provides the ability to launch both Vicks brands and other completely new brands in the large Sub-Saharan African marketplace including Nigeria. Khululiwe Mabaso, Head Corporate Communications/Associate Director, Procter & Gamble, Sub-Saharan Africa had this to say on this agreement: “P&G is delighted to partner with a local Nigerian party to continue building the Vicks brand not only in Nigeria but across many other parts of Africa.Obviously, this is even a better deal for Ibadan and Oyo state because by buying this plant and collaborating with P&G, they ae not only going to be making the same P&G products, they are going to expand and step up operations to export their products all over Africa instead of just Nigeria. Elixir collaborating with P&G means a more powerful production and manufacturing force beyond Nigeria. What you are here paingting negative and doind bad bele over is actually a plus for Ibdan and Oyo state. Educate yourself before making ignorant statement. |

seguno2:I just wonder why you people have wonderful ideas for everybody and non for your own useless and unproductive governors? When was the last time you people showed us anything from your own villages? You people care more about other people than your own states and people. |

[s] Willie2015:[/s] To start with I don't remember people saying or me saying this Ajimobi or Oyo state is responsible for this plant, but he gets credit for bringing jobs to his state and increasing state revenue aka IGR. When investors don't invest, when there are no jobs, when the IGR is low, you blame the governor from head to toe, but when investors answer his call and invest, IGR goes up and so on, all of a sudden it has nothing to do with the same governor? What a sad load of baseless argument. |

[s] seguno2:[/s] Your question is less explanatory. They have constituted these factors and the same factors are available on the ground because investors just keep trooping in non stop instead of your unproductive, hostile, lawless, hateful and bitter villages with little or no productive manpower. It was Amosun commissioning Procter and Gamble plant day before yesterday, today it's Ajimobi in Oyo State. That's 1-2 punch in the same region in one week. The question your bad bele self should be asking is what your useless village leaders have commissioned and done for you lately. |

seguno2:I am just a fan of the dairy sector and mostly in search for information on that sector and not involved in the process. I dont have the policy guide but below is the link from the coy site on the program as a private public partnership with the FG. https://www.frieslandcampina.com.ng/organisation/who-we-are/ |

deomelo:You dont know anything about the Dairy Sector in relation to jobs and your post shows your level of ignorance. This dairy sector alone can generate 1 million jobs at farm level and an additional 500,000 in direct waged employment and another 750,000 jobs in support services. This is a sector that can generate a whooping $2 billion dollar to the country GDP alone if properly harnessed by Ajimobi Administration. Pls tell me one single policy/action Ajimobi Administration has implemented in relation to the Dairy Sector in Oyo State ? Zero action, zero policy... Ajimobi Administration is sitting on a goldmine, he doesn't even know that he is on a goldmine. I find it amusing when a state governor concern/reduce himself to the paparazzi of mere commissioning of Wamco plant, which is a private initiative with the FG and some folks are hailing him that he is creating jobs & should get credit for it. It is the total height of irresponsibility, no wonder he can,t pay his workers salaries. |
