Since the 16 northern youth coalition issued quit ultimatum to Igbos in the North, I have taken time to reminisce on the issue of Biafra, Igbos and Nigeria. Many ethnic group misconstrue the Igbo nation desire for their own country and as such have shown so much hatred for the igbos and what they stand for. The desire of Igbos to have a country of their own is not borne out of hatred of other ethnic nationalities. If any thing, it is borne out of their love for them. In my other writings about the state of Nigeria, ethnic nationalities and the quest for self determination, I stated clearly that Biafra, Oduduwa republic, Nigeria, Niger Delta Republic and other countries that will come out of the desolution of the geograghical expression hitherto known and called Nigeria, will be great countries. The Northern Nigeria by whatever name is chooses will be a great country because of its natural reasources, oduduwa will also be a great country because of its economic potentials and closeness to the sea port, Biafra will equally be a great country because of her ingenuity and spirit of doggedness. Other countries to emerge from spliting of Nigeria will also be great. Most of the calamities bedevilling Nigeria has it root in the lumping of nations that have no cultural, religous and social relationship together. The implication of which is, as it exists today, hatred, strive, nepotism, terrorism, and all sorts of inhuman vices. Before the scamble for petition in Africa, each of the three major ethnic groups existed as an independent nation running its affairs and witnessing some level of development and social cohesion. I am an Igbo man, I do not hate the Hausa/fulani, neither do I hate the yoruba man. But, all I want is to be freed from the mistake of Lord Lugard. My Igbo brother should as a matter of urgency take the threat by the coalition of northern youths seriously. Start coming back home and of course, start the repatration of your investments down to the east. I have taken time to critically look at the countries colonized by the British, none of those countries are today together as one nation except Nigeria. And each of the emerging countries are doing great and are happier for it.Then the important question is, what is so sacrosant about Nigeria being one country? Every developed democracies of the world have in their constitution the right to self determination and seccession. Why is this singular human right non existent in Nigerian constitution? My stand is that a refrendum should be conducted immediately in the east, the same way it was done in south sudan. The Federal government should as a matter of urgency start the process to forestall civil conflict and shedding of innocent blood. This is 2017 and no body should be forced by whatever guise to belong to where they choose not to. The Ohaneze, the governors of the south eastern states, all Igbo socio-cultural groups, massob, Ipob has a lot of work to do in the coming days. The process of charting a new course for our dear country Biafra should commence. Every Igbo igbo sons and daughters should continue to pray for the quick and conflict free actualization of Biafra. Thanks |

Igbos should do one of several things. Leave the North, arm themselves or have escape routes planned. The funny thing is how other Southerners do not see how it will affect them. Ignoramuses who don't learn from history. When they start and start killing other tribes wetin una go do. In the heat of fights they won't differentiate na. |

MEANWHILE The truth is that you people never wore clothes until the British clothed you. That you lived in small villages while we the Yoruba are the first metropolitan people in west Africa. You were busy sacrificing your twins while we were creating one of west Africa's largest empires. Your insults to afonja is a slight to your own race as he was not only the supreme generalissimo of oyos army but he won 28 battles in his entire career. Using the name afonja to insult any Yoruba person is an insult to your nameless forefathers The majority of Igbo in Lagos are not only petty traders and hawkers but also import fake products that endanger the nation. You people should stop deceiving yourselves we the Yoruba pray day by day for Biafra At least it will stop the influx of fake products, Cocaine smuggling, baby factory amongst others |
