even you, hai God! You Nigerians apparently just love to hate your artistes.

Pana was a hit around the continent and beyond, if it was that shitty like you people claim, it would not have been the African song with the most digital downloads in history. Reducing that achievement just because you don't like the artist or his style is petty
LOL!
I only concurred to the name part, I didn't even see the ending of his post. Yes, Tecno is good and this is his time to shine. I didn't really like Pana, I like dance, rara and yawa.

Are you a familyhuh Cos I know menmen is not a perquisite for you
I am also stating my opinion, am I not? Why don't you let me have my opinion as well and share it?

Or is there a law that says I can't quote people and state a different opinion?

Okay
I hated dance, it made no sense to me. The percussion in Pana gave it life, that was all sound. Yawa, I am highly indifferent about, don't love it, don't hate it.

I like Pana, Wash, Duro and Be (where he didn't mention any female names thankfully grin)

Love 'Be' too, even more than 'Yawa'. I'm surprised it's not getting the props it deserves.

the only reason you love Rara is because of the 'message' behind it. You are one of those Nigerians who think you can't like a song without a perceived 'message'.

I know una type.

Probably not a music fan on a normal day sha cuz anyone who is knows that there is more to music than words and lyrics. That sound is a vital part of music. Music is not words and lyrics like you say, music is sound
Exactly! Sound, rhythm, beats are more important than the lyrics. Music is not all about lyrics. If not, Poets would be the highest selling musicians. If one has good ears for music, one need not even understand the language. How would the lyrics of a song be judged when the language is not even understood? I love a couple of Latin and Spanish songs. How could I have known what was being talked about? During the Makossa craze, how many Nigerians understood the language ? Yet they danced and danced. Even Enya that sometimes sing in Latin and Spanish has millions of fans that spread across the globe. Nigerians are just too petty and sentimental. Once they do not have any meaningful thing to say or a genuine criticism, they come for the lyrics and run it down. Whereas, they unconsciously sing songs that they swore never to sing because of bad or poor lyrics. Reason: Their brains couldn't help but flow with the good rhythm of the song.

You should have put somewhere that this is just your opinion.
Re: Tekno – Samantha (audio) by Nobody: 2:28pm On Jun 09, 2017
AM A CONFIRM HATER! deal with that.
Nigerians are one the MOST savage people on earth.
You PEOPLE prefer an Artiste whose every Song is about women over an Artiste who speaks THE truth lyrically.
.
MY CONCLUSION;
Artistes with no talent MOSTLY sing about women and gospel.

It is not my opinion. It is a fact. I am a lover of music and I have a very large library. In music, rhythm is what matters most and not lyrics. In fact, the order is Rhythm>>>>> Beats>>>>>> Lyrics. Moreover, different genres determines how these are presented. My favorite genre of music is Contemporary Jazz ( which you hardly hear a word being spoken) and Afrobeats ( Its rhythm has an anticipatory progression).

if that is what you want to call it. Someone like you would probably not appreciate punk rock or metal because it will sound like noise to you.

Music isn't noise to me sha

don't mind them.

When Sean Paul and Shaggy were reigning, how many Nigerians could hear whatever they said?

Like you, I love some Spanish songs and artistes. I also like some opera, that is another genre of music where the lyrics can't even be heard. Some ignorant Nigerians will call it rubbish or boring because they have no understanding of music.

It's laughable when they try to critic
