On the flip side, I am wondering what the Igbos themselves have been agitating for? They seem to be fighting for the right to continue to reside in the North, while requesting to be separated from same people? Shouldn't this be the ultimate opportunity you've been waiting for? If leaving your properties in the North is your concern, shouldn't you have put that into consideration as part of your secession plans?

I understand, but I am wondering if the agitators put those Igbos living in the North, and not in support of secession into consideration regards their plans? Or are they considered collateral damage? Because if/when it happens, the agitators will use the attacks/massacres as a reason for claiming that they are victims - which is true.
In summary, I expect that as part of the secession plans, Igbos should first put their house in order by ensuring that everybody is on the same page, and all potential benefits, and costs of this plan have been reviewed and accepted. Ideally, this should be a window of opportunity to achieve what they have been clamoring for, but I am surprised that they are pushing back against a demand that they should evacuate the "Zoo" and head to "Biafra".
