Itsekiri, Urhobo and Edo were never part of the Old Eastern region that made up Biafra, so why include them in your map. The major motivation seems to be oil. Tell Nnamdi Kanu and Uwazuruike that if they cannot foresee the 5 eastern States surviving without oil. They should please drop the agitation now. You people should understand that oil has no future and would be worthless a few years from now. The world is moving to greener and renewable energy instead of oil. Nigeria today is begging for buyers of crude because it has lost value and countries are not patronising anymore. The biggest buyer, the USA is now one of the largest producers and has stopped buying. The so-called oil producing communities of the Niger Delta including our Igbo brothers there hate us. I know because I've lived there before. Since we lost the war, and because failure has no brother, they all started denying their Igboness in order to please the hausa-fulani oligarchs and be able to access goodies (contracts, appointments etc) from them. You guys should stop disgracing us by including these people only for them to come and deny us because they are feeling important. Imagine Itsekiri ethnic group that is not even up to a town coming to dissociate from us. Crude oil doesn't make a great country. Venezuela has one of the largest oil reserves and is in economic shit today while Germany has no oil and is Europe's largest and best economy. Leave these Niger Deltans with their shakara and build a strong Biafra and they'll later come begging. Finally, I know Nigeria maltreated Igbos but let me advice IPOB to build friendships and not enemies with other ethnic groups and countries. That's the way to get Biafra quicker. Abusing others and Britain will get you foes. I watched with dismay a Biafran agitator addressing a crowd somewhere in Britain and was placing curses on Britain and gloating over the terrorist attack that befell them, all these in the full glare of the British police. The whole thing sometimes seems like the agitators are childish and have no strategy or or even the least diplomacy

Listen very carefully nairalanders, I really don't believe in the biafran dream because most of the principles guiding such dreams are flawed... OK fine they have not gotten a presidential slot for a long time.. Is Dat the reason or part of the reasons why they want seccesion Or is it marginalization? What makes us believe that even if they attain their independence they would still not not corrupt leaders that will be die hard demagogues!!!! If a referendum should be held, it "must" be peaceful... I don't want bloodshed cos it's not worth it... By the way where is Nnamdi Kanu?? I need to talk to him or is he partnering with Israel to smuggle anti missile defense system in onitsha bridge??

What will now happen when biafra is achieved and it is only mirrored to their 5 states alone. The earlier the better they seek their referendum without including SS region. The attachee by force reagent is because of their oil. If they don't have the natural resources, would they have considered them at the 1st place?

Kogi people have protested and rejected them now Deltans are doing same. The funny thing is that many tribes in the niger delta originated from the Western part of Nigeria so they have no business being part of an Eastern republic but greed for oil made Biafrans forcefully add them to Biafra map.
If other ethnic groups don't reject them now they will be forced to become second class citizens in their own land when the Igbo republic of Biafra is formed. In 1967 after the invasion of Igbos to warri and Benin they forcefully removed the warri and benin rulers and put their own igbo appointed leaders there. Why will they complain of lord lugard forcefully amalgamating them with the North and then turn round to do the same forced amalgamation to niger delta?
This is a wake up call to all non-igbos on biafra map, reject this forced amalgamation now or live like second class citizens in your land after Igbo republic is formed

Hahahahahaha now i know you dont know what you are saying, come to think of it how do you refer kaduna, taraba and jos as a non hausa land??

Go to jalingo, kaduna and jos and tell them to vacate, mind you 80% of people living in those states capital are Northerners their emirs are northerners , there political leaders are northerners so what are you trying to tell me?

Only southern kaduna and some local governments in plateau and taraba states have something different, but kaduna central/North, jos,and jalingo are all own by Northerners.

But to be honest i can't say thesame for Benue.


Check your map wella all those states you mention are much more closer to North than the east, and you cant carve it out of the north.

Just because you are christian that doesn't mean you are not part of the north, or do you want to relocate christians of southern Borno, Bauchi, and Adamawa to the East? i guess they will feel bad if you leave them behind

These Minority groups are all sound and fury, signifying nothing.
They talk about Igbos just to remain relevant yet can't issue strict warning to the marauding Fulani herds men destroying their regions.
Itsekiri people were not part of the defunct Biafra region and will never be part of the Modern Biafran Nation.
This penchant for disassociating themselves from Biafra is insignificant.

The Yoruba proverb says " Ajegbodo nwa eni kunra " ie the guilty one is always looking for an accomplice, remember the issue of Ojukwu's Biafra was brought about when General Gowon decided to break the country into twelve states for which the then Eastern region was broken into three comprising East central, southeastern state of Calabar and Ogoja and River state as separate states. while the North also was broken into seven making it a total of 12 states of the federation but Ojukwu was not in tune with the separation of the south_ south from the Igbo control hence the declaration of Biafra and consequent Nigeria_ so called Biafra war, but now that the South South has dissociated themselves from Biafra they, Bia_fraud are now looking for accomplices from the Shekiris, Kogi and Benue people.
