Considering the numbers of kidnapping at schools these days, any normal person without other motives will leave the sand in a military zone alone if his luck shines so much that the solider told him to leave instead of corporal punishment.

Although I tried to put myself in the solider situation; under that circumstances I will shoot such an intruder on the leg to incapacitate him instead of fatally but again I could miss his leg and hit his hip, groin or stomach.

No religious coloration here it's a case of a stupid stubborn fellow killed by a watchful solider on duty. If you're not happy about it join the stupid fellow like some three others have done and less wahala for everyone.

In a sane society where there is regards for human life, the military knows that there is a big difference between shoot to kill and disarm ,he should have been shot in the leg atmost

All the soldier could come up with was to kill an unarmed civilian?
That wouldn't even suffice as self-defense.
Why didn't he shoot him on the leg? At least the guy would still be alive and would have learnt his lesson?

I will always condemn killing of unarmed youths in any parts of the country whether Christian or Muslim. Nigeria security agents should learn how to handle a protest. The practice of firing live bullets at unarmed protesters is barbaric and unknown in the developed societies.
