Priests and faithfuls rejecting a Bishop simply cos he is not a native yet an Ibo man. I remember what T.Y Orji, then Governor of Abia State did to fellow ibo indigenes of Imo, Enugu and Ebonyi State throwing them away from public service. This Biafra stuff will be interesting.

All the people commenting rubbish should just check themselves. This problem is not just an igbo one but a fundamental Nigerian problem and the reason Nigeria will have difficulty progressing if it continues. I once read a case of a VC of a Nigerian university that had problems with indigenes cos he was not from that place. Why do we favour tribes and Ethnicity over progress? That's the question u people should be asking not all the other rubbish.

No don't be brother, World politics started from the Catholic Church and in fact history points to the facts that the church had the most organized structures even before the advent of modern Managerial scholars. The concept of absolute majority came from the Catholic Church. this was the method used in choosing a new pope. A cardinal must have certified an absolute vote before he can be chosen as a Pope. Politics is everywhere, office, ur family, amongst ur friends. Only thing is unhealthy politics (politics with bitterness ) shouldn't be encouraged.
