The OP added, that the Green of West African countries passport indicate they are members of ECOWAS, but they won't see that because it doesn't fit their narrative. And by the way, the Nigerian flag is also green.

... and each country has its own reasons for choosing one of these colors for the cover.

It is as a result of this 'choice' that the use of the four colours for passports came about. There is no laid down rule that passports must conform to these colours.
