"I called and called the line. Police didn't pick my calls. After they robbers finished with my neighbors. They left. About two hours later. I heard a police siren from afar. They came to my compound in four vans. They spent 20 minutes and left. The robbers spent more than one hour in our compound." Typical of Nigeria police Force.. They don't disappoint.. check my signature |

awillabo:The bolded is typical of the Nigerian police, imagine what would have happened to you and your friend if they managed to open your gate after your friend must have screamed Inspector Inspector ![]() The police took two hours to respond while the robbers left after an hour, simply the robbers were the police on night duty and they went to change their clothes that's why they took two hours to respond. I support you leave Nigeria before they use you count scores. |

Next time, call the Swift Base (Swift Operation Squad) or you call SARS. I don't know where in PH you stay. I would have advised better. Also, explore getting a legal firearm you can own and go to ACID base to license it. |

martyns303:I hate when lives are involved with pictorial evidences, someone will come to Nairaland to be giving us uneducated and senseless analysis!! It took the Metropolitan Police only 8 minutes to neutralize the London terrorists attack; why take the Police 2 hrs to reach a crime scene?? @OP, please thank God no life were lost and that you lived to tell the story. Please fortify the security around you and pray for God's protection. Human beings (the police) can fail but God never fails!! |

It may sound ridiculous but I think the lives of people living in maiduguri and north eat region are safer than those in River state. It amazes me that the government of this state has closed deaf ears to the security and health concerns of this state. |

martyns303:Your number 2 is very flawed. Let's call a spade a spade. On the second bolded, Port Harcourt is very small and I'm sure there was no chance in hell they were held in Traffic. Now give me one good reason why they didn't pick up when the OP was calling them? |

It's even local gun, try and apply for a licensed gun if you are up to 35 years and save yourself the agony of waiting on the police |
