This man in the picture is whom the Nigerian police published his pictures as Evans before the arrest of the real notorious billionaire kidnapper. The man identified as Tochukwu Ambrose Onwuamadike is from Akaboukwu Uruagu Nnewi, a Nigerian businessman based in Angola and bears the same surname as Billionaire kidnapper, Chukwumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans.

According to multiple reports, the guy has been jubilating over the arrest of the real Evans since the news of the arrest was broken.

The kidnap kingpin Evans hails from Akamili, Umudim Quarters in Nnewi, Anambra State...

He now has to sue the police for shoddy investigation. No apology is enough. Because his name and personal reputation have been damaged beyond apologies.

I was going to a church programme one sunday evening at ibom plaza in Uyo, when a guy (i suspected to be a cultist) stopped me, and asked if i was "Etidoh" (which is not my name), so i said no, then he asked if i was in Uniuyo, i said no, he then said i was lucky, that if i was the one(Etidoh) say "I for do you something now".
Whoever "Etidoh" is/was, i don't know

I was wondering how many people have been killed, jailed because of mistaken identity.
Not every killed 'cultist' you see on the internet are cultist some just 'looked like' the cultist
Then change your appearanace and mannerism because if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck it has to be a sub-aquatic bird. No one needs to tell me what you look like.

If the Police had caught this Uchechukwu, they must have believed that they have captured the kidnapper. Case closed.

This young man could have had his life terminated.

Nigerian journalists of Oduaa origin publish pictures of persons accused of criminal actions but yet to be convicted by any law court, once the accused person is Igbo.

Only photos of wanted persons or persons already convicted by the courts can be allowed published in normal countries, unless in a Sharia country

Bloggers and twisting of facts.................

The Nigeria Police did not publish any picture to the then wanted Evans, It was an investigative journalist that did. The guy in picture got his lawyers to contact Vanguard, threatening to sue if the error in the picture was not corrected

It is not their fault, that what police have as Evans pictures, if you read the paper there is a lot of doubting, because it is difficult for to have his real photo. All description they got fell on him.. most of his gang don't know him one on one.. he bear Evans in underworld while he answered real name in legit world..
The Police never had the picture of Evans till he was arrested. The Police even alleged that the Vanguard journalist almost compromised their investigations. Pls get your facts right
