They are regarded as ‘landlords’ of the National Assembly: They know everything about, and everywhere within the complex by virtue of their long stay at the country’s legislative powerhouse. While the structure belongs to the Federal government, this set of individuals have remained there for close to two decades, earning the nickname ‘landlords’ from their colleagues. Who are they? They have converted the constituency sit to personal rightful property, yet their people have not benefited anything from them ever since den.. Their constituency are blind and ignorant of politics or may be have been politically oppressed that they cannot rise to compete with dem again. In a constituency where there are political elites it won't be the same people always. |

These raggedy-arss bastards. Nigeria and septuagenarian youth-leaders and Methuselah-senators! Always playing lipservice to fair youth-inclusion in governance! What about Honorable Etim Bassey sef? Still gawking himself after all the gross benefits they've all siphoned off govt since 1999 democracy booted simply by just recycling themselves in government?! Motherfurkers! They all should be shot with 9mm rounds. |

It will not be an issue if they were performing really well. These one listed here try sha. Former US Secy. of State John Kerry was in the senate 1985-2013 (28 years). Its almost a norm there. Rep. John Dingell has over 57 years in US Congress and is still counting. |

David Mark is on his last trip to the Senate. He would be replaced by the young amiable and very forthright house member in Benue State house of assembly. Mr Joseph Ojobo. |

In America a Senator can serve for 40yrs it doesn't matter. It's a Jackie and power broking job out there but in Naija they usually are abusive and they are so street powerful while the American senator is does not wield his powers and influence and even wealth (if at all they have) in the faces of the masses. In America you see a Law maker while in Nigeria you see a rich powerful and influential Man. the longest ever serving Senator in America lasted for 51yrs while the immediate past Vice President under Obama Joe Biden served for 36 yrs as Senator. |
