Nigeria, the fabled giant of Africa, has got so many problems today, but the biggest? Which can be called the biggest?

Once admirable, Nigeria seems to have become the laughing stock of Africa, an underdeveloped continent where nations like Kenya, Ghana, even Cameroon, and Congo are better in everything from a steady power supply to stable currency and economy.

Recently, due to the ever-evolving crisis within the country, Nigeria looks like a fragile house built from a pack of cards, just ready to collapse at any minute, with a single touch. Below are a number of factors responsible for this.

Buhari is the number 1 problem..... He is a cursed failure.... nothing will work until he hands over to Osibanjo fully...

You can't be more right

Nigeria has only one problem - Values. All the other problems are offshoot of this one problem.

We Value vain materialistic and sensual acquisitions to knowledge, goodwill and legacies. We celebrate and reward criminals instead of honest, hardworking and productive citizens.

This is the reason you can never have light, it is the reason INEC cannot conduct credible elections and it is the reason the economy is in its present sorry state.

Change the value system of the Nigerian society and watch every other thing fall in place.

Take away Buhari and u will discover that Fulani herdsmen, Arewa youths, NEPA n few other factors like APC will jejely go away. Op please include Lia Mohammed as a factor

Are you insinuating that Buhari had been at the helm since 1960 or that the problems of Fulani herdsmen, Arewa youths, NEPA and few other factors started two years ago?

When someone list Nigeria problems, it's like someone saying 4 problems I have in my house ; Heat, Darkness, Mosquito, spoilt food.
Whereas the only problem is no electric power. Put electricity on, all other problems disappear.

Nigeria's problem is over centralization which makes all apparatus of governance slow and inefficient.

Implement true federalism and organs of government would be nearer to the people and held accountable for efficient service delivery

Sir with all due respect, we cannot even attempt to change value in a system where you know that, if you don't take that free money, someone from the North under the cover of FG will come and take it and no body will make a sound.

Nigeria has so many problems but the root, major and primary problem confronting this country is TRIBALISM!



It is tribalism that makes the Hausas making the country ungovernable for Igbos and vice versa!!!

It is tribalism that makes the leader to put round pegs inside a square hole, all because the unfit personnel is of the same tribe with the person at the helms of affairs!

Remove tribalism and put the right people in the right position (whether through elections or appointment or recommendations) and see if there won't
be steady growth, progress and unprecedented development!

Like a football match, everyone has a solution to the imminent problem
