Good morning family. I have this Honda 2004 EDO I want to buy for my wife but it came with a V6 engine. When you say a car is sharp and swet then it is this car. The engine is superb you could barely hear it running. Also the transmission is 100% sweet. But I have never been a fan of a V6 ride in any model outside TOYOTA. What is your take on V6 HONDA. Also the car came with a mileage of 201,000km. Buying it for my wife. I need info from people that have a know about the V6 especially of EOD. And as regards the shaft regular problem, I don't have issues with that, I will always take a preventive measure as regards the maintenance of that very ''BUT''. thanks.

Its a very good car, and i can tell you from experience that V6 engine for Honda is not so different from 4plugs. Fuel consumption is like 3-5% more if compared to 4plugs. But what you loose in fuel it makes up in the balancing when you hit the high way. And for the servicing you need 1 extra litre of engine oil. Other than this 2 obvious reasons nothing more. Go for it and thank me later.

i have always used a v6 engine. pple complain about the fuel, its no problem to me. I have 03 EOD v6. Its engine is wonderful, the only issue is the gear, mismanaged with a evil mechanic, now i need to replace it, otherwise its a good to go.

Thanks everyone. Forgot to say that the mileage has gone to 210,000km. V6 engine.

@210,000 you may have to change the engine soon. But it will still drive till 300,000 smoothly with AC.

Notice and you will discover that Honda cars are cheap compared to Toyota the two problems associated with this car is the gearbox and the balljoints......if you have good maintainance culture go for it but if you hardly service your car please run because Honda legs need care and attention.......its a good car but since the engine is at 210000miles that gear has also worked a lot so my brother check the gear well ....

Is it the alloy that matters to you, because I'm pretty sure he didn't ask if these alloys comes with a V6.

My aunt's EOD is a fuel consumer o... but overall good car..cheap parts....it can be tweaked to reduce consumption but I'd advice against that...I'll rate the car 4/5
