Following the capture of the dreaded kidnapping kingpin Evans, and the recent nabbing of criminals, one would have thought that those in these dirty line of businesses will take a chill pill. But obviously, that's not the case.

An attempt to rob a white man behind Fidelma hotel, independent layout in Enugu State has just be foiled by men of the Nigerian mobile police! This happened less than an hour ago.

An eye witness claimed the robbers were two, they were already robbing some cars in from of the white man when his personal security opened fire against them. Shortly, help came from mobile police men who were around the area.

The criminals tried to zoom off but one was unlucky as he was shot on his laps by one of the mobile police men. He has been taken away to police station.

Poverty is the father of this dirty hussle but greediness often play a role too. If only we can thrash all the useless politicians messing up this country.

I really don't think poverty is the cause of criminality and crime, I think, like u said, it's more of greed, lack of contentment and productivity/creativity. I am not saying poverty doesn't bring bad thoughts but self-control and creative/positive thinking is the answer. GOD bless our hustle brothers！

Are u sure kidnappers would ever find anyone worthy of kidnapping in SW states, considering their level of individual poverty? I went through Evans list of victims, and discovered all 19 or more were Biafrans. Meaning Evans couldn't find any ordinary individual in SW that could afford $1m. Little wonder their hate keeps increasing.
