Gionee has just introduced a toned down model of the Gionee A1. The Gionee A1 Lite, as it is called is getting red, black and gold colour choices.

As for the specifications, the Gionee A1 Lite comes with a 5.3 inch HD IPS display screen, a 1.3 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor chip. It brings along 3 GB of RAM along with Android Nougat that features Amigo 4.0 UI as the skin.

It features a reasonable 32 GB of storage space and we have no idea if it is expandable. The battery capacity is basically the same as the Gionee A1 which is 4,000 mAh.

Gionee supports selfie focus by placing a 20-megapixel camera at the front of the phone. Gionee A1 Lite has a 13 MP camera at the back of the phone. For connectivity, the Gionee A1 Lite provides the expected 4G, WiFi, GPS/AGPS, micro USB, 3.5 mm audio jack as well as Bluetooth 4.1.
