Sony gave us another glimpse of the upcoming God of War gaming series, with Kratos once again the star of the show, only this time he's a father.
As mentor and protector to Atreus, a son determined to earn his respect, he is forced to deal with and control the rage that has long defined him while out in a very dangerous world with his son.
It is a new beginning for Kratos. Living as a man outside the shadow of the gods, he ventures into the brutal Norse wilds with his son Atreus, fighting to fulfill a deeply personl quest.

It's not, this is a soft reboot, it's not a numbered entry, but if you want to insist on placing a number on it, then it still isn't the 4th God of War game, it's more like the 7th not counting the mobile games.
