The pictures below depict the deplorable,dire and awful state of a male hall of
residence in a popular university in this country.
This is neither the first time nor the second time this same scenario is repeating itself.
The cleaners in charge of tiding the AKANU IBIAM hostel[hall 4] has claimed that
the school management is owing them about a year salary in arrears.
From the info reliably gathered from the occupants of the hostel,
the unpalatable and unconducive state of the hostel is playing an adverse effect on
their well-being, not only health-wisely but also academically, emotionally and
financially. The rodents and mosquitoes that breed in the location is unquantifiable
Welcome to nigeria where leaders of today and tomorrow are subjected to delibrately unclean
environ for weeks... SOS

Students are animals and no school in Nigeria should build hostels.

I have seen first hand the savage lives they live in these hostels.

Later when your little brother who is in primary school brings home his health education assignment that says is it good to clean your surroundings..? (True/false),
you will almost beat him for not knowing the answer.

If each room cleaned their frontage, it wouldnt be a mess.

I will not be suprise if some of them are still waiting for mama to wipe down there azz. That's the type of over grown babies we have as a youth in this country.

So because the students paid a certain amount, they are free to litter the place?
Why don't the students not pay and sort the mess out themselves, this sort of behaviour is animal-like.

There seems to be an injustice with the management maintenance payment but it doesn't equate to grown ups littering their abode like this

Like I've always said.. If at all my kids will attend any public university in Nigeria, it will be university of Ibadan.
