Really. You dont care that the president addressed the nation in hausa. Chai. You are in big trouble. I swear, you lack principles. Anyway i guess you are Yoruba, you never cared when you sold your generations into slavery.
Bigger issues affecting nation but if you want to cry about this its free country. English makes more sense but if they guy on his sick bed wants to speak Hausa whatever. You must be the crybaby clan that has majority yet suffers from inferiority complex.

Yes.

He can address the nation in Swahili for all I care.

You guys are easily distracted with "gutter is dirty" nonsense.

You should start by clutching your local government chairmans balls and squeezing it and making him/her accountable.

Instead, you're harping on Buhari speaking Hausa. Shey na Igbo him be before you voted him in?

Did you say applaudable?
Are you joking?
Has Babachir, the grass cutter being arrested?
No.
Has Buratai been arrested for his multi million dollar mansions in Dubai?
No.
Has anyone been arrested for the billions of dollars found in the Ikoyi apartment of the minister and his girlfriend?
No.
Has anyone been arrested for padding his budget?
No.
Again, I ask, are you joking?
It's applaudable because although prosecution was one sided and only led to a few convictions if any, I haven't seen a Nigerian president attempt to address corruption. We all know the Judiciary is corrupt. We know about Saraki. He gets a 2/10 but other leaders get 0/10. For that, I commend him. Fighting corruption in Nigeria is suicidal. It's almost like trying to eliminate a culture.

I feel sad tonight that Black Africans are complaining that their President choose to communicate with them in one of their own languages. These self haters would prefer the language of the colonial masters of their fore parents.

The funny thing is that the majority of Moslems who the President's greetings and wishes, were direct at have no complaints. The whining is coming from non Moslems. Wharaapity!!

I fell for a man who accepted that corruption was a problem and who was willing to put presidential weight on the fight against corruption. A man who already had an antecedent in this regard.

As opposed to a man who used the campaign trail as a means to advocate for corruption without penalty because there would be no one else to rule over. The same confused fellow is still insisting till today that he was wrongly blindsided by USA and UK because of imaginary corruption that they had no evidence of. This is despite all the security funds put into his private political campaign and spiritual Alhaji, and special assignments like Metuh.
This is coming from a president who pardoned a convicted former governor who was his boss and party member and then gave him a Senate ticket as welcome back to politics gift. He pardoned a party chieftain Bode George and rubbished the gains made by the Yar Adua regime in the fight against corruption. He reduced EFCC to a useless government agency where staff were so idle, they could be picking beans during work hours.

I ensured that such a woefully useless human being was not rewarded for his failures. That is democracy at work and why you have 2terms. You fail, you go home, you impress then you continue.

Don't worry about Buhari, he is already set on the road home to Daura, he doesn't even need to contest and must have learnt from Jonathan's mistake of contesting for re-election.
Guy you no dey tire to defend failure.... even Demdem has abandoned baba o....

One question, if GEJ was still president and he addressed Nigerians in ijaw, would there have been silence or heavy criticism? Tell us the truth
Re: Is It Right For President Buhari To Address The Nation In Hausa? by ZUBY77(m):
If you have half sense, you would know that the trick worked.

Those managing Buhari deliberately created that audio Hausa record to keep you arguing why your nation should be addressed in a local dialect rather than official English.
PMB may be in trouble in the UK. I don't which him that but I don't shy away from realities.

See as all of you are arguing why he used Hausa, while forgetting that the voice itself may not be who you think it is.

Exactly, my thought as well. I see a possibility of a dubbed voice note from the president, the question now is who is fooling who? Nor be small market we buy for this country.

If President Goodluck Jonathan addressed the nation in Izon (The Ijaw Language), how would the self-centered North react?
Re: Is It Right For President Buhari To Address The Nation In Hausa? by JikanBaura(m): 1:26am On Jun 26, 2017
Speaking English is not by force,Here in North we only 30percent of us understand it. Hausa language is Nigeria's most spoken native language, understood by 100million+ Nigerians.

Buhari had always spoken in hausa and will continue to do so, deal with it. It's will be awkward for a Hausa to speak to his fellow Hausawa in language non other than Hausa (which majority of us don't give a Bleep about ) Better go learn hausa cuz Hausawa never and will never ever dump their language for another man language.

Ask any Igbo,Hausa Yoruba who school in North with which language wore he taught in school/university he will tell you with Hausa and English, maybe will little English if he attended private school.

Buhari addressing Nigerians only in English while being Hospitalized my left foot. Get well soOn PMB

Yes, because he is not fluent in English.... Afonjas don't mind because Hausas are the only true Muslims in Nigeria

A lot of people who said so prior to the 2015 elections had no concrete proof.

Buhari as military head of state had more Southern Ministers than Northern. He also had more Christian state military administrators than Muslim. The list of these appointees was all over the internet and it proved a very even selection that reflected the diverse national identity.

The claims that he had Shagari on house arrest while the Vice President Ekwueme was in prison was defeated by the fact that all governors whether North or South, Muslim or Christian, were all in prison too while their cases were determined. As we have all seen since this democratic dispensation started in 1999, no deputy governor or vice president can be accorded much regard. Even their principals don't accord their deputies much regards. So it was not unexpected that Buhari's military regime put the principal under house arrest while the vice was locked up pending trial.

He sanctioned traditional rulers from both North and South that flouted a government rule on travel

The thieving minister of transport who was kidnapped in the UK to be returned to face trial in Nigeria, was a Northern Muslim called Umaru Dikko.

So those who pushed your argument leading up to 2015, had no evidence to back their claims.

Now talking about such claims in this current Buhari administration is a whole different argument, for which the evidence is obvious to even the blind that there is no need to even be debating it.
Buhari is an arrogant hypocrite that is tasting the wrath of God. That wrath will follow his descendants for generations.

He addressed only muslims. Which is funny considering there are Yoruba muslims as well that don't understand hausa. Maybe he doesn't consider them muslims enough.
