I am a bit confused, I heard people say it does pose threats to a man and some other few people refuting it. How true is such assertion?

Like this morning my friend and I were arguing about it and he told me a story of one of his uncles who lost hope in life and gave in to drunkenness. And that for a period of some 25 years he never had sexual relationship with any woman and at a point he was seriously sick and was taken to a hospital and the Doctor after checking him said his problem is lack sex and they immediately arranged for a prostitute for him and after the whole thing ( editing and cutting the story short) they paid 200k and he was discharged. That prior to this time he was having unusual rashes and pimples but after the treatment everything gradually disappeared they got a wife for him and he's got two kids now.
Please doctors in the house help, lalasticlala help a confused fellow. Move to appropriate section as I myself for some reasons has been contemplating celibacy, is it true I am prone health issues like cancer and the rest?
