i dont know if its normal she is 4 months old now, she can play from now till 2moro asin rough play . she dosent even know when someone is serious . everyone in the compound is her friend and she eats too much 1 Like

if she starts to sleep here ehn . you will just get scared if you like carry microphone and shout she wnt wake up until u touch her . the first time i saw her like this i was scared maybe she is dead, because i called her from far like 10 times before moving close to touch her before she woke up !! this is how she sleeps she must hang her legs somewhere 11 Likes

She is a beauty.... she will come around in due time... but try putting her on a secure leash during the day and let her loose at night. She will bark. 1 Like |

You dog is very perfect, Please don't do any of the harsh suggestions mentioned earlier. She is in her growth spurt that's why she sleeps a lot. And you shouldn't expect a puppy of three or four months to be aggressive, any of such is total insecurity. Be patient with her, also let her grow into what you desire. Have a routine... When to feed, when to release her, when to play, when to be serious. She would grow into a fine obedient and controllably aggressive dog, not a reckless monster 2 Likes |

casydigital:lol... no fear... my gsd just turned six months and he so didn't used bark until a month ago. keep er on a leash for most of the day then get her off the leash for like an hour a day( though not necessary cos as she grows, shell begin to bark and get aggressive towards strangers.) its also good to allow puppies socialise with people so as to develope boldness in approaching people and know when there is a threat or not so I advice you just allow her grow normally. don't restrict her. I restrict mine cos my neighbors will never leave their houses and will be screaming my name till I leash him even though all he wants to do is play(they re scared of even puppies that haven't opened their eyes sef) I only let him lose when I'm there to supervise him or hold him from jumping on people. without forcing aggression. they are like human kids. they are friendly with everyone but as they grow older, they begin to act mature and know when to be aggressive or calm or protective. my own pup sleeps like a log of wood too but he is gradually becoming alert even when he sleeps. before, call till heaven falls he won't wake up. he used to even pee while sleeping. its all a child's life... free your puppy jare. treat then the way you would treat your own child 2 Likes

Thanks everyone. Sorry I haven't been around. Till now she has barked just once . When someone was at my dog so the gap under the door she saw shadow, and she barked just once and ran away to hide , since then nothing else . I am even tired of training her on how to shit one place she won't still learn . Mehn this dog is stubborn I just know she is stubborn . I wash my balcony all the time because of her like sometimes 3 times a day . She will shit and piss anywhere she sees her self .. |

casydigital:I never have this issue with mine, right from when I got him at 6weeks old. Whenever its in d cage and wants to poop or wee ,it starts barking or growling , and immediately u open d cage it runs to the garden to poop or wee, it never does any of it on the concrete ground in d compound. Even when I put him on a leash within d compound, so far he's on d concrete ,he would bark or growl whenever he's pressed. I don't know what d guys I got him from did to it. |

casydigital:If u want to pottie train a dog...u first need to get the dog's resting position,usually a confined space...a cage will be better....Dogs naturally don't poo where they sleep and eat unless they are really pressed and can't get out of the place.... It is from this place you then move it to ur desired location of pooing...once in a while the dog will fvck up and poo any where..u'll rub it's nose on the poo with a simultenous spank with a regular recognised koboko specifically for that shiit only...and u need to wash the place u don't want her to go and poo again with bleach...cos Dogs have very sensitive nose..and they understand routine, they will always try to poo where they hav pooed once b4... In less than 3months she'll be good to go....just to add...if u want to use oyinbo baby petting style..na u sabi oooo.. This is a rottie..they are strong & stubborn dogs..they need correct spanking with koboko...when it's fully grown sef..u will need to change the koboko to a fairly sized plank.... 5 Likes |

I took her to the vet today for deworming and when we got there some other dogs were barking so she joined her voice was so loud ehn . The vet told me the reason she didn't bark at my place was likely because she was so comfortable and no disturbance or noise . And yes my place is very quite and calm. |

Fhahahahahaha... U go soon see something, my Rott looks exactly like urs as a puppy, doesn't bark even when she does she runs away from the person she is barking at... But now, i gat no worries... Rarely barks during the day, but crazy at nights, very dog friendly, never fights with other dogs cause she is well socialized, infact she embarrasses me when we go for a walk cause she wants to play with every Tom, Dick and Harry she sees... Rotts are lovely dogs. Wheew!!! Did i say she can play rough for Africa, with their mad strength is she starts with anybody enh, u must beg o... Too playful even at 1year and 1month... |
