South-Sudan fought war of separation with Sudan for 50 years (1955 - 2005) with only a break of 11 years

Eriteria fought war of independence for continuous 30 years (1961 - 1991) with Ethiopia

And you are now saying they voted overwhelmingly for secession despite their illiteracy. So you think they fought wars for generations (the main reason for their educational underdevelopment) so that they could vote against independence in a referendum that was just a formality?

Igbos that are more educated, how many years did their war for independence last? Just two and half years.

Whats all this fuss about dividing this in peace? even if the UN delegates are truly coming ,there comin to shake hands with the president, preach the gospel of peace and fly back to Washington DC. sometimes i wonder Hw myopic who igbos could be. you guys really think the un nations will come to conduct a referendum when the Nigerian government is against it? this is the same government that has over 40 seats in UN security chambers (one of the most powerful seats in UN) making nigeria as powerful as US, britain Russia and China. And again remember Amina Muhammad (or so) that was made the deputy secretory to UN, that also includes other mediocre posts occupied by Nigerians in favour of the Nigerian government.
so if i can jst be a prophet in 10 sec, like i mentioned earlier they will come, shake hands, preach the need for peace and co-existence and leave you to your troubles.
