Op please don't mislead people.That picture was taken during the Aburi accord meeting.Gowon later renegade which led to the civil war. |

dilini:This picture was taken from the Aburi meeting and showing Ojukwu and Gowon eating from the same plate during a break from the meeting. Aburi was the last attempt to resolve the dispute between Gowon and Ojukwu. The reached an agreement to keep Nigeria one and signed the agreement. But when they got back to Nigeria, Gowon broke the agreement and Ojukwu was left with no other choice but to declare Biafra which led to a 3 year war. A lot of people think Ojukwu caused the war, it was actually Gowon who did. |
