auntysimbiat:Kudos........ but the major problem is that, we are black people, our mentality will not allow us to produce in mass. They will concentrate on few customers instead of larger world. Folks, there are many fruits that are grown only in Nigeria yet we can not take the advance to introduce it to the larger world market. African Pear (black pear for eating corn), Agbalumo or Udara is only available in Nigeria. Right here in our eyes, they are going to extinction. The output is diminishing every year. If it's white people, they will advertise it to the world and increase the production. Today everybody eats imported apple. |

Receive sense. It'll be properly stored. That's why we farmers and the exporters have more sense than Negative minded people like you that can't see no good in what other people are doing to make thier society a better place. CROWNWEALTH019: |

Yams are not easy to come by these days: very costly and hardly affordable to the masses all because my country wants to join the league of yam exporters. I thought the sane thing to do would have been to encourage large scale yam cultivation by providing the necessary assistance needed by farmers so that yams would be affordable to its citizenry. Not until this is done, it shouldn't talk about yam exportation. |

ollah1:Lacking food doesn't mean food is not available but it means purchasing power of the citizens can't let them buy food. Or what do you call it when you buy a tuber of yam for #750.. When last did you visit the market? |
