anything we do in life, it's either for a blessing or a lesson, it's clear that voting PMB was never a blessing to Nigerians, it's for a lesson, and now most of us have learnt our lesson. Just like Christ was given up for Barnabas, we gave up GEJ for PMB, I think the only good side of this experiment is for de future, maybe next time Nigerians will realize that a Good man from GALILEE is better than a bad man from JERUSALEM
Wow!!! This is one of the saddest things one would read on nairaland. Nigerians have suffered so much that they are clamoring for Jonathan. This is jonathan that probably can't even get elected to city council in a developed country that some Nigerians are putting on pedestal. Man, it's so sad how horrendous leadership in this country has been from it's inception that people are having to chose between worse and horrendous leaders.

The jet can be parked here in Nigeria and if the President gets well, under 4-6hrs the Jet can be flown to London to pick him up."

Whatever Buhari's govt is doing or failing at will never make good thinking Nigerians regret voting out GEJ.
That was also my sound opinion as yours but trust the few roaming zombies here, they never agree.

Why are you complaining when Buhari blames GEJ for our economic woes?

sad All will be well with Mr President. We can't really blame PA Buhari but those useless power drunk like Kyari and Co.
....That is what you get when blame game [blame GEJ], has wiped out the hard disc of a ruling party's think-thank.

Everybody is to blame but the President.

what a shame!

Why not blame GEJ.......Lol!

What a wasteful and senseless government! And to think they came up with change begins with them while they continue to do same and even worse than the governments before them is nauseating.
I weep for those who still have hope in this country
Buhari is a grand failure and a serial looser.
Curse the day APC got into Nigeria politics!

The only surprise was the so-called intellectuals campaigning for him - and there were many of them. Take someone like Tunde Bakare for instance. Been making confusing, disjointed, incoherent statements of recent.

Even here on nairaland. The madness, derangement and hysteria that engulfed here from say, Jul. 2014 to Jul. 2016 was sth else. For example, where is gbawe? Some monikers have deactivated. Some have become reincarnated. Others have runaway from the politics section - only to peep once a while. A few have come clean while the dwindling, remainder ethnic and religious clan among them trudge on shamefully (and even fight amongst themselves at times as well) from one gaffe to the other continuously dished out by their increasingly comic lord and do-no-wrong master's presidency. What a mess.

Truly, knowledge is one thing; applying it is a different kettle of fish all together.
Modath in particular. She's now hustling in the business and investment section

There's also one prof of law from UNILAG, Akin Oyebode who was a strong critic of Jonathan and strong supporter of Buhari's APC. I really wish that Channels would bring that confused professor to come defend the bad market he supported both in words and in action.

Buhari's govt is a calamity of epic proportion. Any Nigerian that dies today should raise the Nigerian flag on judgement day so that God will know that he/she has been through hell.

BBC Africa has come after the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, accuses it misapproriation of funds.

"The idle presidential aircraft in london consumes 4k pounds everyday for parking lot and its idleness. By 12am this morning,it would be 50days it has stayed idle and if you multiply that by N400/1pounds for 50days it will amount to N80,000,000.00 doing nothing but waiting for the President Muhammadu Buhari to get well.

Always verify the news. BBC did not put out that news. Check BBC Africa news. They sure did talk about the fact of the plane but the other things na bloggers add am. Not saying Buhari's government is good, in fact it's bad, very bad but this news purporting to be from BBC is false

Your account starts off in the middle of the tale and so does not capture the entire truth.

The millions of people who voted for Jonathan in 2011 and turned against him in 2015 have no excuses and owe no one any apology. They wanted change. That Buhari has failed, should not obscure the fact that Jonathan failed first.

If you recall, Jonathan ran a government that was drifting.

This 'saint Jonathan' who is now idolized, had funds for prosecuting Boko Haram stolen from under his nose , at one time he outsourced the Nigerian Navy to Tompolo, Pastor Ayo became an arms procurer or at least a facilitator in the business, he could not stop the leakage in NNPC , he could not make a dent in crude oil theft, he could not rein in Dieziani, his wife Patience ran an unofficial ministry within the government and was a general nuisance. Jonathan privatized PHCN and sold it to incompetent interests. We can all witness the effects today. The list goes on.

We were doomed to destruction by PDP and corruption under Jonathan, now we are doomed by APC 's incompetence.

Jonathan's ouster did not have an ethnic coloration to everyone, contrary to your claim. I was in Oghulagha near Forcados , a capital of Ijaw militancy and the birthplace of Tompolos's mother on election day, and I can attest, some Ijaw people voted for APC. They were fed up with their 'brother'.
The same thing happened in many states of the South.

As I like to say, "both Buhari and Jonathan destroyed Nigeria, they just did it differently ...."

We are in this mess because we lack good leaders; not because we exercised our democratic right to change bad ones.

Corruption causes Recession. That should be returned to Nigeria with passengers and to be used by Ag President for his all and sundry businesses.

Maybe they are flodding a thread that has Kanu News.
The simple truth is that Buhari is a Sadist...He is happy seeing people suffer..Thats what most sadists enjoy in life.
If Buhari rule for 10 years, nothing will ever change.

To me the tragedy is not that Buhari has been a failure but that any Nigerian leader wud ever be compared to GEJ.Buhari and his clannish, bigoted and pretentiously corrupt govt shud be shedding tears wherever they are that the govt is being compared to a GEJ president that hitherto had d unrivalled distinction of being the most corrupt,d most clannish and most incompetent that ever graced d corridors of power in Nigeria! That is d tragedy of d failure of this govt, not d fact of d failure itself.
