According to the story shared on Facebook by Uchechukwu,a man was allegedly killed by Fulani men while coming back from market in Lafia.They allegedly robbed the deceased and others before killing him.Below is what he wrote....

BDA 'barkiladi' market in lafia and the unknown & unique fulani men with Ak47 stopped them all and ask the IGBOS TO SEPARATE FROM THE GROUPS AFTER RUBBING THEM THE WHERE ASKED TO LAY DOWN ON THE HIGH WAY JUST A STONE THROW TO THE MILITARY CHECK POINT.

AS I AM SPEAKING NOW TWO DIED INSTANTLY WHY THREE OTHER DIED ON THE 29TH OF JUNE 2017

Well 4 d record, I'm in Lafia, and I live very close to specialist hospital,& as a matter of fact my cousin was there this morning to greet her fellow marketers, if not for the so call Sallah celebration, chances are she will be in that same car with other cause they all sell stuff together in that village market, they do go there from lafia once in a week,

The bottom line is, people get Rob on those road that leads to those small small villages a lot most especially in the night.... The securities on those roads are really poor.

Every body got robbed, and things get out of hands, sadly some died without discrimination,Plus most of the people that died are Hausas.

We need more details than assumptions about the assailants and the reason for the manslaughter. These are dangerous times, but to jump to conclusions is more dangerous. We should also be careful not to embellish stories with phrases like "they asked all the Igbos to move to one side", unless they were actually true.
