@CrescentMoon
What is your genotype ?
I am assuming you are AA and not SS.

You should stop taking all drugs, visit a specialist
hospital and explain your symptoms.

I will advice you get an immunodeficiency test(not HIV).
Also change your environment if possible.

You can also limit your diet and watch out for changes in your system
as you re-introduce the foods.

The first time I became aware of me falling sick was in 2007. I was 26 at the time. Since then it has been a myriad of medical troubles.

It has been cycles of malaria, bacterial infections, disc problems and headache. Every night, I take drugs before I could be able to sleep. I always have antimalarials, antibiotics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants handy. If malaria symptoms occur, I would take antimalarials and there would be improvement within minutes. And would then complete the dosage in 3 days. By fourth day, symptoms of bacteria infection would occur; I would take ciprofloxacin and get relieved within minutes. Once I complete the dosage, headache would strike, and once aspirin is taken, I get well. But I would keep repeating aspirin every night until gastric ulceration sets in. I would then buy omeprasole and cimetidine to treat ulcer. While ulcer treatment is ongoing, malaria would strike again, and I would take antimalarials. If antimalarials don't work, I would know that the symptoms are bacterial and take antibiotic. If there is no relief, I would combine antimalarials and antibiotic and there would be a relief. It has been like this since 2007. I don't go to hospital again because I have grown to know these symptoms and what doctors would prescribe.

For the past 2 weeks, I have been battling 'herniated disc' problem in my lower back. It started the day I bent down suddenly and I heard a snapping sound at my back bone. I started using norflex, calcium supplement and diclofenac. I feel mild relief because I can't stop my daily hustle to rest while the disc heals. If I dont work in a day, I won't eat or pay bills.

Note that I undergo HIV test almost weekly.

How do the poor tackle medical problems in this hellhole of a country?

Lalasticlala, please help me move this to fp.
There is no scientific proof of the effects of this, I do not need to argue but buy a bottle of Apple Cider vinegar mix with Lemon, honey and hot water. I do take it every morning not to treat any ailment but it has been good.

This is very effective. Apple cider is 1500, honey 1500, lemon is one 100 naira. This can help your system. it's helping me in different ways.

chief I feel your pain and I sympathise with you. But you s houldn be pitied but celebrated. Get hold of yourself and go to Prayer city (after berger), you'll pray to God and he will take away whatever is troubling you..

Trust me crying or wailing won't take it away. At prayer city, no dime will be collected from you but deliverance prayer. May God help you brother

Don't give up

If everyone is to list there problem, you will think yours is a blessing.

First, stop taking ciprofloxacin, you are building the bacteria with too much immune, no drug may work again.

Solution : Go to a clinic and Run a test to ascertain the strain of bacteria, what you are doing is blind medication.
Check for typhoid, though Cipro should have helped but you abused it.

Second : you are taking too much drugs, you need a lifestyle change and a Ned diet and nutrition regime.
I doubt if you take fruit, I don't mean orange juice.

Third, for that ulcer, take a litre of water everyday from tomorrow, water is punishment when you are not thirsty but you need to dilute the HCL in your stomach.

Fourth, for that herniated disc, you need to start pelvic floor exercise and try acupuncture too.
Get someone who can massage your back.
Change the height of your chair and stop sitting for long.

Five: Your brain may be having a signal problem especially with a nerve and it is sending pain signal as a sort of comfort. Sometimes our neurons send wrong signal.
Some people actually find comfort in pain
Change your lifestyle again and see a neurologist.

Six: You have to be happy, and be positive. If you add depression to your pain, you will die sooner.

Bro sorry for you predicament but seek proper medical care. Have you done simple Full Blood Count test?

Any sickle cell issues in your family? I guess unlikely but always good to know your status. Good knowing that your HIV status is negative.

You may be abusing medication if you are taking them so often without prescription. Using antibiotics anyhow is a no-no.

Then seek neurological & pain management care.

Guy your case is simple. Have you laid your sickness unto Jesus. He is faithful and just to heal you. See a medical doctor and continue with your prescriptions and treatment but make the word of God your hallmark. Confess your healing everytime. Isaiah53:5. Just confess it daily on your health, that by christ Jesus strips your are healed. It works bro, you will wake up one day and find out all the pains, symptoms has gone. May God heal you in Jesus Mighty name- Amen.

Op is taking too much drugs. You may have to get off those orthodox meds for a while. Stop everything you are doing right now and go for a comprehensive diagnosis rather than wasting time on self orthodox medications.

Black Seed & Pure Honey may solve may of your problems if you know how to use them.

Nothing wrong with you. You need a lifestyle change. Drop the drugs or you will find they won't work when you need them.

Go for supplements because it's the only solution when hospital fails. Have you tried swissgarde Omega plus, A & R and Cal-c- Mac for disc problem? Aloe Power can neutralise effect of all drugs that are no longer effective for you and others can build your immune system against frequent breakdown. For inquiry comoli2009@gmail.com

Sorry about what you've been through. But from what I read so far, your health anxiety has turned you into a hypochondriac. I'm sure if you were given a placebo intravenously you will feel well. All I can say is its all in your mind and you will have to purge your mind of the fear of your health status. As far as I am concerned you've taken too much antibiotics between 2007 and now. It's possible that you have messed up your natural bacteria flora and you need to rebuild a fresh colony of friendly bacteria in your system. You can start by taking probiotics or good quality yogurt And see if there are any improvements. I could be wrong though as I am not a doctor but it still is worth a try. Good luck, best wishes!!!
Exactly my thought,in as much as the OP might have had some Health Challenges,I think he's turning into a Hypochondriac and DEPRESSION even though it's a mental problem can really mess up your Physical Well-being and Myriads of unconnected health complaints is a SURE sign of a Depressive State..@OP your MAIN Health Issue is DEPRESSION..I've been there..

I am very sorry for what u have been through, but try and eat good food... The truth is that your immune system is very weak..eat things like meat, beans ,egg ,yogurt...ur body will be strong. Then give ur self time b4 taking any other drug. Try to manage ur stress by cutting down sm tinz to reduce headache and waist pain. If u can do push-up especially with one arm just 2 ,and 2 of the other, it helped me. I wish u quick recovery.
