What of your home State and Local Government what have they done for you or don't they need your so called restructuring? They say charity begins at home. Don't you think It is a bit hard for the FG to notice you from Abuja in the midst of a 180 million people.
Hmnnnn i like ur moniker i was actually born in Sapele ogorode, but that's long and hv not reach der for over 17-18 yrs now. But ur question I so wish for these. Restructuring so that lagos can stop is monopoly on development while other SW states gets nothing. It's the only way to bring even development. The truth is that if we achieve true federalism ppl like tinubu and co would be cut to size. Imagine the ficaso btw oba of lagos and omi of Ife. It is only happening because of the position of lagos. Most SW FEDERALIST can not form opposition because of the position of Lagos.

May you live long! cheesy I feel like dashing you 1,000 likes for this post! wink But those states need to be governed by people of vision, purpose, accountability and intelligence, with a passion for performance.

We can see what Fashola and his successor Ambode did in Lagos, as well as what Donald Duke former Governor of Cross River and Godswill Akpabio former Governor of Akwa Ibom, did for their respective states. If visionless, corrupt, clueless individuals are left at the helm of affairs in the states, then all the devolution of powers both politically and economically, would be wasted!! angry
We have 36 states. Logic and common sense even lets us know that not all of them can be bad. A good number will be bad, some will be good. Experience since 1999 has shown this. The beautiful part of all these is that once a state catches the development fever, many others will catch up as they don't want to be left behind. That is how American states began until they all developed and that is how European countries also developed. In Naija, Lagos and Cross-rivers began all these security, IGR,comparative advantage shit that many serious states are trying to emulate now. That is how the fever spreads. Nigeria is becoming increasingly left with a choice; fail together or develop at your own pace. I go with develop at your own pace because Naija is not equal in xteristics to begin with.

Most of your hailing this man..how did u comprehend this paragraph... Without any convictions... All I see is tribal bigotry all over the piece....

U mean we all should start fighting who becomes the president when we know the outcome of their performance...

How did obasanjo and osibanjo benefit Yoruba's and tinubu who orchestrated the later...

Most of our leaders like Dele Mmodu talk like babies and eXpect thier subject to act matured... To the hailing hailers this guy is not different from Nnamdi KANU who preach tribal supremacy or better than Buhari who made the 97% comment ...
What chapter & verse in Dele Momodu's piece contained any bigotry? shocked Was it a lie that the Yorubas supported GEJ for presidency in 2011, and their support enabled GEJ to defeat PMB, that year? Was it a lie that Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (NOI) was the one of most powerful ministers under GEJ? huh

All Momodu is saying, is that winning the Presidency, is a game of numbers. sad You strategise to get it, and build alliances across different regions in order to win their votes, so you can ride into power. It will never be handed to you on a platter. So where is the tribal bigotry in that comment??! shocked

Telling you to stop pumping your shallow chests, playing the victim and be sensible and strategic politically to achieve your objects = Sound and credible Advice so take it or keep quiet.

You've been playing the same silly victim games for decades, but you haven't gained anything, you are still crying like babies so when are you going to grown up and change your strategy?

And what are you with your oil, allocations, derivations, amnesty billions, and NDDC? Dubai?

You are still nothing.

Btw, we have oil and we are facing cocoa too, Cocoa is now the second largest earner and export after oil.

Oil or no oil, SW was and is still ahead of all you hating and bitter people. You can not progress with hatred and bitterness, you do so with credible and competent leadership with vision, not people like Ibori, Alams and other clowns in the Delta buying mansions and rolls with your money in London and America.

Siddon there. The crude in Aje-1 oil field being drilled by Folawiyo Group off the coast of Lagos, is enough for their whole region. You can keep your own oil! wink

Let me tell you a secret, there's oil in Lagos and Lagos is an oil producing state.

Legos developed before oil and before Nigeria as a country.

Lagos is the 5th largest economy in Africa without oil.

Lagos is already doing without your oil and Lagos's monthly IGR without allocation is more that all your oil rubbish states combined many times over.

Oil did not make Lagos an industrial state and oil did not build Lagos.

Japan doesn't have oil, but Japan is a major world and economic power.

What an embarrassment you people are.
