I am having a hard time trying to select a better device for me between Samsung Note 4 and Samsung note 5. Both devices are great with beastly specs. Please I need your opinion

i was expecting someone to say this. I dont know why I will use my phone as a remote control when I have a remote(I noticed it's the gionee and other "chinko" phone lovers that always solicit for this); how many premium/flagship do you see with removable battery or ir blaster? If you want a premium phone, better chipset and performance, sleek design, better camera, better ram management,better stylus and screen off note feature, better software and software features, go for the note 5. Just hold the two phones side by side,you don't need to be told the differences. There are so many cloud storage spaces you can save your files so memory isn't an issue. Again, they are not mates

For technology, almost always, newer/latest is better.

You dont like d remote function doesnt mean ppl dont,go to pages with fans review from galaxy s6-till date and 1 major complaint is removal of remote and when Samsung,LG,HTC were all using it,it wasnt abt "chinko"bt a selling point.
Slickness is now more important than durability if thats what you mean by premium(i had an s7 edge i bout 140k bt sold it 90k bcox i fell with it and glass cracked). Every new slick n slimmer design come wif a price(they start removing things that made them stood out in a bid of chasing Apple iphones)and if they remove 3.5mm jack(earpiece port)like Apple did on iphone7 you will say it was useless.
I havent used those cloud storage but dont they use data to backup? Jt asking,wanna learn.
Anyway....it all down to preference and Op shud do his own research,thanks

lool, I see you have a note 4 for sale. Back to the discussion, you talk about preference - are you telling me if I give you a note 4 and a note 5 you'd choose the note 4? . There's no argument here, you can't compare a 2014 device to its recent big brother. Yes, I've used the s7edge, I'm using a 6s Plus atm, are you telling me because your device broke doesn't make it premium? Lool. Yes, the sd card removal isn't ideal(I never supported it, but this doesn't make it inferior to its little bro)which is why they brought it back in the s7. Like someone said, the newer the better, the note 4 is an old device in my opinion. Let's not be hypocritical in our discussions abeg

iPhone doesn't have the ir blaster (the ir blaster,Samsung eye and hand motion thingy are things most people do not even use)or the sturdy and rugged look and can break easily. What do you think is their selling point?

Apple is a US device n nobody does hype more dan US,security i feel is deir major selling point and its cheaper to fix an iphone dan samsung,most samsung wif broken screen cost as much as a 2nd version of dat same fone.

Lol. You know why the s8 and most other flagships don't have the ir blaster? Lol, it's not about how many irrelevant functions a phone has; you have to look at your customer base and give them what's more important(which is why there aren't so many changes on the iPhone and Samsung, you know what dey improve on mostly? Performance,camera,design, the others follow). My guy you're telling me you bought your note 4 because you want to use it as a remote abi backup for remote? Ok o. For me quality over quantity, idc about ir blaster(I don't even use it). your definition of premium ehn, lol. You're angry because dey removed ir blaster , sacrifice fall on you .
