Nate was in his room, when he heard a knock on his door.

''Yes, come in'' he answered, already aware of who it is.

His mum walked in, shutting the door firmly before turning to look at him.

''Mum, I'm busy, what is it?'' he asked.

''My son'' she called out to him and sat on the bed, very close to him.

Not liking the look and tone of her voice, he said rudely ''Mum, Ogini? I'm feeling sleepy, please say what you want to say''

''Tell me, mother to son, are you really g...gay'' she asked.

The question hit him squarely and he instantly grew angry.

''Mum, I thought we talked about this, I am not!'' he pointed to his lips ''read my lips, I-Am-Not-Gay''

''Are you sure?'' she asked dryly.

''Mum, go and tell that your informant to give you a refund, he or she is doing a very terrible job''

''I received a call about Twenty minutes ago and the person; a man precisely, told me that you are gay and that he has evidence'' she said quietly, giving him her phone, so he could see the number.

He took the phone from her and a glance at the screen showed that the number Isn't Juliet's.

He quickly reached for his phone and checked-Same thing...Not Juliet number!

He flinched inwardly and got down from his bed nervously.

''Who could be doing this?'' he muttered to himself.

''Mum, I need to go somewhere now'' He said to his mum, with a noticeably fake smile and grabbed his car keys and pulled a T-shirt over his head.

''I assure you, someone is playing a prank on you'' He said while heading to the door.

''If you are sure about that, then go and get a wife and prove the person wrong'' his mum challenged.

''No thanks'' he replied, typing impatiently on his phone.

''I will get one for you!'' she informed him, enthusiastically.

He tensed inwardly ''Go ahead, you will marry her'' he grimaced and banged the door.

Who is this new prankstar?

Who else knows about the little lie he told Juliet?

Who? Who else?

All this questions which he had no answer to, filled his mind as he drove off, off to meet the one person who could give him the right answer.

''I love you Kenny'' she murmured still in his arms.

''Kath, uhm! I think we should stay away from each other for awhile, my wife is beginning to act strange, like she knows something'' Ken ground out under his breath.

''Hey, just tell me you are looking for an excuse not to give me the one million I asked for'' she replied, jabbing her finger on his chest.

He looked up at her ''No baby, I think my wife knows something'' he said softly.

''Then let her know'' she replied indifferently.

Miserably, he looked at the figure beside him on the bed. ''She is still my wife and we are still married''

''Get a divorce and come to me, I promise to give you ten times of whatever you are getting now'' she replied cuddling up to him.

''Ten times of terribly cooked food'' he almost said but managed to control his mouth ''Kath! Be serious, I think she knows something''

''Like seriously Kenny! You are here boldy telling me about another woman, meanwhile I here, I have always loved you and have always wanted you to be mine, but instead you went ahead and married Vicky, even after that wonderful night we had in the university, for Goodness sake what is wrong with you Ken, I love you, I love you'' she cried out angrily.

Ken was shocked by her revelation, he had always thought that all the 'I Love You' she has been saying all along were mere words, he never imagined they were for real.

With a sigh, he looked up at Kath, who was already shedding tears ''Kath you need to leave now''

''Now, you are chasing me like leper, it's alright, I will leave but be rest assured that you will come crying at my feet'' she shot at him and stood up from the bed in her half-unclad state.

Vicky sat at the backseat of the taxi with her hand on her stomach, already exhausted, even though the flight never happened.

It had to be rescheduled due to the little rain which stopped after few minutes but the terrible weather remained.

''Oga, that brown gate'' she pointed to the gate and the taxi-driver nodded.

The driver, stopped just outside the gate and she alighted.

Her gateman ran out and helped her with the luggage as she said 'thanks' and walked in through the smaller gate with smiles.

The first thing she noticed was a blue Camry parked outside the apartment.

''Adamu, who come here?'' she asked the gateman.

''Na one aunty like that, wey tall, yellow well well'' the gateman described.

'Kath!'' she gasped and ran in, ignoring the taxi driver who was asking for his pay.

Maybe she's being paranoid, she thought and heaved a sigh of relief when she saw no one at the sitting room.

She tiredly walked upstairs, with her hands on her waist.

''Sweetheart, I am b...'' she came to an abrupt halt and her brain went blank when she saw the scene before her.

''ah..Ke..Kath..what!..Ken what is thi...''

She groped for the right words, as she watched their eyes widen in shock.
