Social media bullies can ruin your day with just a few words and sometimes fragile minds could be led to doing some unthinkable things as a result of these bullies.

So its no surprise that lots of social media platforms have taken serious measures to help curb this trend. Instagram now lets user block offensive comments from their profile settings.

The new setting can be activated by opening your account settings, and scrolling to ‘Comment Settings.’ If the feature has been rolled out to you, you will see a new ‘Hide Offensive Comments’ switch. The feature replaces the existing ‘Hide Inappropriate Comments’ switch, which used a basic blocklist.
