I have a 42" LG TV, last week the screen suddenly had color bars & distortion. It cleared after I switched it off for awhile. It must happened again. It's connected to a surge protector. What could be wrong? Is it the screen or flex or board issue Attached are the pics

The TV is currently suffering from epilepsy Take it to an LG centre, they might help fix it for you... Sister please is that Regina Daniel in the second picture? |

Slap am for side a bit  ( temporary fix)Take to Tv repairment ( Good fix 1-2k i think, requires a bit of soldering) Buy new one ( permanent fix) Goodluck |

Lg have the most terrible of all screens. Even screens on lg phones don't last. Sell the tv and stay the hell away from any lg product that has screen. Go for sony. 1 Like |

nannymcphee:fault is between the TV's tcon board and the screen, ve to take a look to know exactly what the problem is. certainly not an easy fix, would cost somewhere between 8 to 50k. |
