Hi to all, A friend of mine is seriously worried. His wife has Hepatitis B. She's a nurse and the PA. Can any one tell what are the tests done under medical test and what are the diseases which can be serious for immigration. Any reason(s) to be worried?? Please share. |

Blingyrie:Congrats on your med passed. Your AOR caught my attention - just about 2 weeks from ITA! That's remarkable. I'd like to think most of your documents were handy before ITA, do you mind sharing ideas as to how you achieved this? Recipients of ITA in your draw are still within the 90 days submission period, some are still gathering documents while some are waiting for POF to mature, my guy here don already pass medical! Your post as well as @Mire222 post reechoes the fact that planning is sure critical to achieving success, and in time. Congrats again. |

victor101:So sorry to hear this. Tests done include - Chest X-ray, Blood tests for syphilis (VDRL and RPR) and HIV and Urine test. Your friend will also be required to fill a medical history form(tick box kind of thing). I got this from the CIC website Certain health issues may result in refusal. Applicants for permanent residence who require medication for Diabetes or Hepatitis A, for example, could be deemed to be a potential burden on Canada’s universal healthcare system, and CIC reserves the right to refuse an otherwise eligible application for permanent residence on health grounds. There are, however, ways to overcome inadmissibility on health grounds. For example, a report from a specialist on the condition could help an applicant’s case and help to avoid further medical examinations, delays and/or refusal Wishing your friend all the best! |

victor101:If you're talking about Naija PCC it doesn't take time. You can do it when you get ITA. Mine took about 5days. I believe some have gotten it in lesser time. It's a pretty straight forward process. |

adaifx:It's not an issue. You need just 3 years work experience to get maximum points. So if you've worked a minimum of 3 years in any of them that are willing to give you, that would be good. All other work experience can be shoved into your personal history and you won't need reference letters from them. If you've worked one year in each of them you'll need to get from the 3 companies. Remember the work experience needs to be in either NOC 0, A or B. |

Zilifish:Sorry about dis. Yes u can seek a remark for any of them but d chance of getting d desired 8 from 7 in listening is slim considering d gap and d nature of d test unless u r very sure u truly deserve 8 or more. For d speaking, u would likely get d minimum 7. Going by dis analysis, I think u should rewrite d exam with more preparation, commitment and prayer. Wish u success in whatever step u decide to take. |
