It was a painful experience for me yesterday as i traveled through Benni-Abuja "expressway", we are indeed the most resilient and patient people on earth. I began to imagine the kind of lost of lives and properties along that road alone, thousands of people lost friends and family members everyday on that road. Equally, properties in multiple millions have been lost. It can only take people who are nonchalant for us to still live happily despite all these "wahalas" Those who are lucky to pass through without accident will have their bodies to tell how far, apart from wears and tears on vehicles. I sincerely felt bad and still feeling, I regretted driving myself. I was narrating my trip experiences with one of my brothers and he said "NIGERIANS ARE NOT PATIENT OR RESILIENT PEOPLE, WE ARE LIKE A CHILD BORN TO AN EXTREMELY POOR HOME, HE WILL NEVER FIGHT FOR LUXURIOUS LIFE BECAUSE HE NEVER KNEW IT IN THE FIRST PLACE" Could this be the reason for our endurance? Check out some accidents scenes I captured on my way:

You don't need anybody to tell you that Nigeria is a failed state.. The citizens are the cause of it They watch and fight each other along religious and ethnic lines while the elites are in unison looting the country dry with reckless abandon They country is on auto pilot It's heading for the hills And the incapacitated man at the helm have refused to relinquish power Do you believe that there are still citizens who go about defending Buhari based on religious and tribal sentiments |

zombieHUNTER:No sir, i beg to disagree. The citizens are not the cause but the system is. We have a lot of unpatriotic citizens in the country because of the system we have. This is also why we have corrupt leaders. We are to diverse and this diversity cannot let us focus on our development. Excessive diversity is also a bad system. This why we must split. When we split, we will have patriotic citizens; which will bring development. Why do you think most European countries are mono-ethnic? After all the same Europeans created most of the countries in Africa. They are not stupid. |

Deedeedee3:Finally, a very wise post but people who cannot think or fear their ethnic region are lazy will hate this post. The regions were better than the divide and rule 36 states that are rubbish. Why was that? Why are European nations actually tribal countries yet get the lion share of the worlds wealth, FIFA positions, etc? Why do we say we are Nigger Area when we are not, then celebrate naming ceremonies for children, giving them heavy native names but say they are Niggers on their passport? |

Can anything good come out of this cesspit and abyss of human destruction full of catastrophic occurrence and a big shame to democratic governance? |
