you igbo people can barely run your states but you want to have your own country. how ? your states are the most backward in the country which is why you are all running to the north and the west. how can do you plan to run this your country ? you need yoruba to teach you how to run a country. so please keep quiet with this agitation. biafra would be hell on earth if actualized

They are running not because they can manage their place, they go there to colonise virgin lands and make civilization accessible to the natives. And don't forget igbo land at the moment is managed by nigerian system and dysfunctional nigerians, not biafrans'

First take up the arms and know if this is 1967 or not. Boko haram wants their caliphate they took up arms, Niger delta militants don't want oil activities in their region they took up arms. If you fools want to have your region forcefully too, take up arms. Otherwise you should all fvcking keep quiet and follow the right procedure to which Nnamdi Cownu has no say or input

Use your sense.
The right procedure is through referendum that was he and his group asking for.

U tink he will start paying y'all money every month for jus sitting down....NIGGA WAKE UP, THERE'S NO EXCUSE FOR FAILURE.... I've been proud that a country with so many ethnic groups and different language can stand together.... We r the largest concentration of black people in the world..... The world black race look up to us.... If a black nation should rise to be among the 5 world powers its going to be Nigeria....... Think of a way to bring to ur environments... Instead ona wan go....oya Mona go buh count us out...........u can never grow to be a great nation with the way u people tink....
Three gbosa for you, you shared some of my thoughts on this issue. I do not believe the igbos want to secede just because of a so called marginalization, but because they are angry to be ruled and dominated by the other large ethnic groups. They have no problem with the minorities but mainly Yoruba and Hausa.
Igbos are influential and large, whatever marginalization they complain about, they can handle it if they want to, but l believe this call for secession goes beyond marginalization which is just a smokescreen.
The cartalans in Spain are also rich and influential group in Spain, who now also believe they can handle things themselves.
I understand what the igbos and the Cartalans want and it's not necessarily a crime, but as a citizen of Nigeria it would be painful to me if this country is divided rather than the other viable options.
The country has so much potential together and the World knows this, it holds so much promise for Africa that even Black Americans discuss in their forums and amongst themselves looking up to Nigeria to stand up for the Black race. Even lgbos who are mainly traders have a free market of 200 million people(something not readily available to other west african entrepreneurs) which is why many do not want to leave the populated north or lagos.
The major problem with Nigeria has been greed, corruption, laziness due to oil. This is why l believe in Regional Government or a slight devolution of powers at least.

i honestly admire your level of sincerity and honesty. if only other Nigerians could shove tribal sentiments on critical issues as this, things will be a lot easier and better. But unfortunately, the reverse is the case for almost all of us.

Yeah, Ojukwu ran away, his supporters said he went away in search of peace. Biafra defeated, they said they fought against Russia and Great Britain.
Ibos never accept defeat, it works well in business but not in politics.

If referendum is only necessary to migrate from colonialism to independence, pls prof., tell us who conducted the referendum that led to Nigeria's independence and the independence of other African countries?

The only time there was referendum in Nigeria was when southern Cameroun needed to decide whether to remain in Nigeria or join northern Cameroun.

It's is obvious, therefore, that referendum is necessary when a people have to decide whether to remain in a country or not; it has nothing to do with independence but self determination.

All these lie lie professors sef.

There is no referendum clause in Nigeria constitution due to your founding fathers voting against it in 1956 constitutional conference. But if you want referendum to be included, then ask one of your senators to sponsor the bill. You have 15 senators from Alaigbo states, one of them should man up and sponsor the bill. Insulting other tribes and groups is not going to give you Biafra, it will only create animosity of other tribes towards your tribe. I don't know how difficult it is for you guys to understand this

“Self determination is to poll inhabitants of the
colonized territory whether they want
independence or they don’t. After independence, it
is no longer a matter of self determination. It
becomes one of right to development. Nigerians
exercised their right of self determination on the
1st of October, 1960."

Exactly, if these people are not opposing Biafra, trust me, we wouldn't have gotten to this level.
It's just like a situation where someone is angry and shouting, the more you oppose that person, the more the person's anger increases and the more outsiders are paying attention to the quarrel . But if you ignore the person, the motivation for anger won't be there.
Those opposing Ipob is obviously helping them indirectly.

It has reach a stage to include it in the constitution.
Because one nigeria is a failure, hence any ethnic group or region that desire to be separated from nigeria should be allowed to go.

Note: i am not from SE, but I like them to have their biafra so that they are free from one nigeria headache.
