Mister! Sit down, be humble.

I've a policy which I use in getting by; might be of help to you. Focus on the things within your control and let the uncontrollable ones sort themselves out, in most cases they will always be in your favor as long as you've taken care of the ones in your control.

What I'm trying to say is for those yet to have their AC; focus on having a wow one, for those of us who have done ours pray to whatever you believe in to make the cut.

At the end of it all FBN is a business concerned with making profits and been around for a long time to come, hence getting 'the right people' will be top of their priorities.

So Minister of information, Uncle Lai's distant cousin; sit down, take a hot beverage and be humble.

I talked with a FBN management staff today, and he told me that FBN service executives were also included in the assessment centre stage, that means more competition from guys who are already in the system, so those of you yet to conduct your assessment, give in your very best because competition is high.

Someone was saying here about 2 pages back that he/she saw a lot of old looking faces conducting assessment and he/she was surprised, the age FBN stated in this years GTP was not to be more than 27 years as at December 2016 but he/she saw peeps more mature than this age range I presume, and now I understand why, this is because FBN included service executives to participate in this state as well.

Its not like anything fishy would happen though, service executives won't be given an upper hand or preferential treatment, they would be assessed like every other candidate, its just FBN's way of converting qualified service executives into core staff.

This shouldn't dampen anyone's spirit please, because as for me, by God's grace I will be in the next set of FBN training school graduates no doubt!

Yeah. I have been wondering why no one talked about this before now or maybe I was the only one who noticed. As youve rightly said, this has reduced the chances of the external candidates to some extent. And of course theses guys are way beyond the age limit. What number of new intakes is FBN looking at and are there slots kind of for the recruitment. These were questions I asked myself.

Well I know Zenith, First Bank and some other Nigerian banks made the top 1000. Which isn't a small feat considering the country's economic plight in recent times.
As for those still on a chill pill please call HCP that's why you were given their contact number to CONTACT.
They would clear all doubts with scheduling, and that's an informed mode of approach. Rather than counting when the 6 weeks would end. You might even be able to get them to schedule you when you want, if you fear the scheduling might clash with other commitments.

Yes you are right but if you look closely its a miles back for instance.

GT bank is now 588 in the world compared to 2016 which is 490

Access bank is now 628 compared to 2016 which is 522

UBA bank is now 832 compared to 2016 which is 670

Diamond bank is now 881 compared to 2016
which is 711

our beloved FIRST BANK is now 567 compared to 2016 which is 417

this may affect their recruitment and we all should be ready for marketing because the bank will surely need more account/deposits.
Good luck to me and others yet to be called for AC.

"To perform well in a group exercise it helps to know what the assessor is looking for. It's worth saying straight away that they probably are not looking for someone who dominates proceedings. Many candidates at an assessment centre fall into the trap of wanting to own the conversation and speak for the longest, regardless of the quality of their contribution. This will not get you many marks. In fact you will get a lot more marks by tactfully getting these type of people to shut up grin for a minute and let others contribute.

In most group exercises, the candidates are deliberately not assigned a particular role. This is done to see who naturally is a leader, a facilitator, an ideas generator, etc. Remember that the assessors are not looking for the person who shouts the loudest, or talks the most. The type of behaviour they are looking for will depend on what competencies the company has decided are important. Think of a valuable point to make, make it, and avoid being either the loud and shouty one or the quiet and subservient one. make sure you stick to your role and try to negotiate the best outcome for your character. At some point in the real job you will inevitably have to fight for a view not necessarily held by you. This assessment centre exercise is designed to measure how good you are at this.

Whilst marks are available for teamworking skills, lots of marks are awarded for contributing genuinely good ideas to the discussion. Think of a good point and make it" copied wink
