I hope that this is not true. If you can confirm this, please PM me. I'll take it up. This is the most disheartening thing I'm hearing today. To think that some people had undue advantage over others in that exam is disturbing more especially in this era we are fighting corruption.

Y'all should not annoy me abeg, did you even read through the sections they had under the renewable group? Did you notice there was a section strictly Photovoltaic, there was another on CSP( also solar) I'm sure of these 2, there was geothermal I think and many others I can't remember now, i'm just thinking they concentrated the one they named 'renewable energy engineering' on bioethanol and biodiesel because the others were already well represented. It wasn't a perfect grouping however but I'm amazed y'all are saying renewable was only biofuels.
The only thing I can say is; since they broke the renewable group to sections, they shouldn't have called a section of it renewable energy engineering again ,making us expect it to be all encompassing.
But what I don't agree with is saying, they think renewable is only biofuel, not everything you want to yab Nigeria with abeg.

They didn't say that in the instructions, why should they then use it.

well said, you should also know doing the right thing makes no yab of any country. Good you pointed out their flaws.

Biofuel's r renewable sources of energy...under Biomass.
I read about Biofuel's and their conversion processes, but still the ptdf questions where too deep.
I guess the number of people who applied for renewable energy were too much and they needed to make the exams harder. It's just really sad. However the competition is per state. Making it worse.

Thank you ooo... help me tell them biofuel is a bioproduct of biomass which is a renewable.

Bro. Am no harbinger of bad news... But as a matter of fact...upon exit from the examination hall (JKK) I met with old school mates and acquaintances, with whom we discussed the exam, while this was on I heard succinctly the conversation between two gentlemen on the said subject. One asked whether all I said was contained with the contents of the sheets he was holding, the other responded in the affirmative. Upon hearing this a friend decided to see what the said contents could be... But these guys noticed his movements before hand and moved to a more private area towards the express.

Please, Those of us that wrote chemical reaction engineering had close to 15 incomplete questions, I don't know what can be done about it because it's unfair and limits our chances of success, Please if there is an appropriate channel on how to report this incident, let me know. Because we can't just let it lay low.

For renewable energy engineering, you decided to set questions on advanced biofuels. This is very horrible. And yes I read about biomass, and it's subsections, but you guys didn't do well on this one. This questions are for those in doing PHD who want to major on biofuels, not for masters student. Some guys actually no try sha. I saw some guys copying out the whole grammar part out for their friends writing later in the afternoon. Although some of them did it cos they re nt frm the same state but what if someone else did same for someone frm their own state.
To certain extent the exam was compromised by the singular fact that we all wrote same set of questions (both ppl that wrote early in the morning and those that wrote late afternoon)
