There is an available vacancy for an IT Support Officer in a technology company in Lagos.

Roles and Responsibilities:
IT Services
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Implement, maintain and support IT services, i.e. computer systems, software deployment servers, anti-virus updates, patch management, backup etc. as directed
• Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Replacing parts as required
• Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications (cloud services etc.)
• Setting up new users' accounts and profiles, and dealing with password issues
• Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
• Working continuously on a task until completion (or escalate to the IT Service Supervisor when necessary)
• Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time;
• Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with clients on site
• Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment
• Implement and assist with management of Active Directory services (Email, Document Management, SharePoint)
• Install and support network infrastructure, i.e. network switches, cabling, wireless access points, etc.
• Other related tasks assigned

Qualifications
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Microsoft Azure (Cloud platform and Infrastructure)
• Cloud computing
• Windows server virtualization
• SQL Server (Data Management)
• Windows system center (Mobility)
• Microsoft Office 365
• Sharepoint
ITIL Foundation
CCNA
