The Hilux has assumed performance and definite reliability but that doesn't mean that other pick ups are not reliable. Indeed a lot of Nigerian army personal prefer the Ford Ranger on all fronts.

You wonder why the Hilux has resulted in so many deaths from roll overs in Nigeria see clip below self explanatory.

The Raptor which is essentially a souped-up F150 is arguably the most reliable 1 to truck in the world, doing 400k miles on the one engine and transmission is quite common with proper maintenance.

Finally if I got my hands on the new Raptor I would do a road trip London to Lagos 4/5 days including site seeing No Shakin !!!
