On a side note. The too much money rolling around in the EPL is doing more harm than good. alot are beginning to loose their minds when it comes to transfers.

The gulf in quality between Swansea and Chelsea is too vast, and the rate of productivity per 90 does not account for this.

Should we be checking per 90, when Siggurdson is passing to the likes of Llorente, Wayne Routledge and the twice relegated Leroy Fer during those 90 minutes?

The fact that siggurdson out totals Pedro and Willian despite playing in a team so bad, they hired 3 managers in one season suggests that he's in a different class to those fellows.

Go and put Pedro or Willian in Swansea and see how they fare.

2015/2016 where Willian was our main man. Willy scored 5 goals. Gylfi scored 11.

Why wont you check per 90mins? Sig (9,11) played more than 1200 minutes (13 gamnes) more that Pedro alone last season (9,9), If we gave Pedro those Sig's minute, he would surpass and not by little margins, the output of Sigurdsson.

Siggurdsson will not give it better output than Pedro for 40million.

Again measuring the minutes played does not take into consideration the team mates you're playing with during those minutes.

You cannot expect someone playing with Hazard(3 time league champion), Fabregas( multiple league champio) , Costa(3 time league champion), etc to produce at the same rate someone playing with Jordan Ayew( relegated with Aston Villa), Leroy Fer( relegated with QPR and Norwich), and Wayne Routledge (relegated with Crystal Palace).

It's just not possible, so comparison based on rate of production is dead in the water.

So we must collate based on totals and use our discretion to consider quality of teammates. Swansea were so bad they hired 3 different managers to save them...bros don't go there.

Will he do the same with the same minutes at Chelsea? I think not.

We have Pedro with less minutes posting similar stats to him with less minutes (13games worth, how about that for discretion?). How about giving pedro more minutes and watch him deliver more for us. There's nothing that suggest that Sigurdsson will do better than him at chelsea if given less minutes. The stats do not suggest it! the style of play does not suggest it, Which hustling e one do that Pedro doesn't do already? What assists does he do that Pedro doesnt already do. Goals? Pedro scores.

Only thing he beats Pedro in, is in set piece taking.

With the way we play, 343, He can only compete with Willian Pedro and Hazard and we all know he's not touching hazard.
