airmark:Arindin its easy to win a one off game with oldies than to depend on them for 38games The age theory has been proven true That is why Guardiola is revamping the side and bringing younger players |

raumdeuter:Dopemu, like he didnt depend on oldies when he was at bayern with alonso, robben, ribery, lahm etc all over 30 years. Age theory is a useless theory and with majority of them gone now, he has no reason not to win epl in a grand style . |

airmark:You are a fool, the person who won the league last season Conte, How many over 30 did he have in his team |

raumdeuter:Apari, we are talking about fraudioola using over 30s to win burnthisleaguedown but couldnt use the over 30s that got to ucl semis penultimate year to win epl, despite spending some countries' budgets. Epl must be different from burnthisleaguedown to him now. |

raumdeuter:At Barcelona he was fortunate to coach the best player in the history of football alongside players like Iniesta and Xavi. These 3 will guarantee any coach trophies in their prime. At Bayern he had already made Superstars in a one team league but still couldn't do better in the champions league. So here he is at City, building a team without a player as talented as Messi Iniesta or Xavi. He passes this, then he can finally lay claim to being better than a couple of other coaches. We are praying for him to pass this too ![]() |

raumdeuter:So why didn't he win the one off games and improve on the previous champions league experience or at least match it? |

Tiemoue Bakayoko's move to Chelsea is set to be completed Saturday. Goal understands that the Monaco midfielder traveled to London on Thursday and passed his medical with the Blues a day later, despite lingering concerns over his knee. He was set to sign a contract later Friday, having spent the day at the club's training ground in Cobham and speaking with Antonio Conte. However, the move was complicated by several factors, with Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev asking for a higher fee at the last minute and Bakayoko having signedk several mandates with mulitple agents or intermediaries, making it difficult to identify the parties who needed to be paid and slowing down the process of finalizing the deal . And later in the evening the player himself cast doubt over the deal with a series of strange activity on social media set off alarm bells. But multiple sources have confirmed that the deal is still very much on and that Bakayoko is expected to sign a five-year deal with the London club on Saturday morning. |

EmmGee:Tell me which of kdb, silva and aguero is not world-class? Sane and Jesus are not world class yet same way we can agree mbappe and dembele are not right? However no one can deny the impact they had for city last season and they are expected to even improve further this season. Please, do note that the discourse has been about how good city's squad looks going into the season and their chances of winning the league as the minimum expectation. |

raumdeuter:But Pep said this same Chelsea team needed 10new players... meaning that only one out of the rest can make his team. How come Conte only needed to add kante, Luiz and that mediocre Alonso to win the league? What are you talking about? |

lukaku wasn't Jose Mourinho first choice, he wanted morata but he couldn't get Real Madrid to sell, I never supported the plan to buy lukaku, if you want to see lukaku play with good players or big stage, watch him when he plays for Belgium, he is as average as average can be, I have watched videos of beloti and morata Beloti might be a one season wonder, Morata is proven in big stages and has scored in final and semi final of champions league, he has discipline and he a good poacher and he dribbles Chelsea shld snap him up asap

*DP0*: *Milan confirm Bonucci agreement ahead of €42m move* AC Milan reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Leonardo Bonucci, the Rossoneri announced on Friday. After seven years with the Bianconeri, Bonucci is set to leave Milan to join their Serie A rivals for a €42 million fee, reaching a reported five-year deal with Vincenzo Montella's side. The 30-year-old defender arrived in Milan earlier in the day, and the move will become official pending a medical. The Rossoneri initially offered €30m for the 30-year-old, but Juve refused to accept less than €40m for a centre-back who played a key role in their Serie A and Coppa Italia success and journey to the Champions League final last season. The Italy international was linked with a move to the Premier League last summer, with Chelsea and Manchester City interested, but opted to remain in Turin. With the latest transfer news, it seems like most players no longer consider champions league football to be the number 1 determining factor when changing clubs. Almost everyone is now moving for a fatter pay check. Or how else can you explain Lacazette's move to Arsenal, Bonucci's move to Milan, Kante's move to Chelsea (in July 2016) |

airmark:And to think this was the first eleven Fergie used in winning the EPL in 2011 it makes mockery of flopdiola's excuses. Van see SAR 41, John O'Shea 30, Vidic 30, Ferdinand 32, Evra 30, Carrick 30, Scholes 36, Giggs 38, Valencia 26, Berbatov 30 Rooney 26. With Nani 25 and Ji sung park 31 drifting in and out if the team Man city first eleven last season. Caballero 35, Clichy 31, Kompany 34, Stone23, Sagna34, Toure 33, Fernandino 32, Silva 31,Raheem sterling 22, debruyne 26, G Jesus 20. With Leroy sane 23 and Aguero 29 drifting in and out of the team. Which of these teams have the higher mean age. And to put into perspective that the united team above won the league again in 2013 with almost exactly the same core minus VDS for DDG 22, Berbatov for RVP 29 and O'Shea for Rafael 23. But The others age has turned to the following. Vidic 32, Ferdinand 34, Evra 32, Carrick 32, Scholes 38, Giggs 40, Valencia 28, Rooney 28. The age excuse from flopdiola is a tired one. |

Emaprince:Dayo should have known I was headed this direction when I stated that Conte didn't need to spend 150mil to win the league. Your ability to deliver when boxed in an unfavourable position is what makes you a manager. Pep hasn't shown that, he is too rigid and predictable. It's not always about what works for you, thinking outside the box make you stand out. Here's Conte last season: We started the season with another system because the idea in my mind was that I wanted to play with the 4-2-4.The emboldened lines differentiates a pragmatist from an idealist. The Italian tinkered around with his tactics, sought for alternate formations and eventually got the balance he needed. Next thing, he is winning the league. Pep would have rather reminded the world that he doesn't have the right players that suits his idea hence the need to get new 10 players. Fraud! |

Conveyed on many media vehicles is the inference that Bakayoko deal stalled last night because we were still in talks with the intermediaries that helped broker the deal as regards to their agency commissions. I believe the talks are still ongoing, and Bakayoko would sign today if an agreement is reached with these people. Don't be surprised if this deal matches that of Torres. 50mil for a CM with questionable abilities na pure scam. We could have tempted PSG with that figure for Veratti walahi. |

Chelsea have submitted a €100 million (£88m) offer to Juventus for Gonzalo Higuain, according to reports in Italy. The Premier League champions are desperately trying to sign a new striker after losing out to Manchester United in the race for Romelu Lukaku, while Antonio Conte has informed Diego Costa that he is no longer part of his plans at Stamford Bridge. Tuttosport claims that Conte is furious with Chelsea’s hierarchy over their failure to land Lukaku ahead of Jose Mourinho’s side, who completed a £75m deal for the Belgian on Monday. And to make amends, Chelsea’s board approached Juventus 10 days ago with their proposal to sign Higuain. Yet turned this players to the best team in recent history of the game |
