Following these update, I suggest we also send them follow up email for them to consider it giving the high prices of flight tickets since there are no travel allowances from them.

Your admission letter for proof of funding, which u will send to your school and the school will later issue u CAS or CoE or I-20 depending on ur chosen country of studies; submit that to PTDF again and u will be issued with scholarship award letter. Yes, U can choose achool other than those ones listed.
Caveat: this information is absolute correct as of last year and previous years award but PTDF is cash strapped now. And their is new head at the PTDF Tower. Best of luck.

I hope they do that for oversea guys. The flight tickets these day is enough to buy a land. Moreso, thinks PhD is one from each state. The resources to risk for it is too weighty

The interviews are scheduled to hold from Monday the 24th to Friday the 28th of July 2017 at the PTDF Towers, Memorial Drive, Central Business District, Abuja; further details of your specific schedule (date and time) will be forwarded to you within the coming days.
For the exercise, you will need to prepare and bring the following:
Original copies of all relevant academic credentials used for the scholarship application
8 copies of your research proposal
A valid national I.D.
Printout of your application slip

I only know of University of Michigan and MIT. There are many other schools on the list but I couldn't access the list again on ptdf site.

Flight tickets are crazily expensive now.....but what if you are the only one invited for the phd interview in your state? A friend of mine took the risk of flying down last year and got the scholarship. A tough decision I must say.

It is impossible before september but may be possible first two weeks of september if finalist is published first week of August, and PTDF used diplomat approach for securing visa for scholars without interview.

About 5 minutes. Sometimes they just keeps throwing questions at you once they see your topic before you can even start.

It is not necessary, you won't be presenting on a powerpoint. They already have your research proposal
