The founder and Pro-Chancellor of the Adeleke
University, Ede, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, has said
that 82 per cent of the students in the institution
are there on scholarship.
Adeleke said this during the third convocation of
the university, held in Ede on Sunday.
Addressing the graduating students, staff of the
university and visitors, he said, “A mind is a
terrible thing to waste and that is why I have
been looking for ways to give back to society. One
of the main objectives of this institution is to give
hope to hopeless people.
“Eighty-two per cent of the students in this
school are on scholarship and I know that what
they have enjoyed here they will replicate same
in society.”
He called on Nigerians to assist the
underprivileged, especially in the area of
payment of school fees, to ensure that children of
the poor are also educated.
Adeleke said he was always pained each time he
was unable to render assistance to the large
number of people who requested help from him.
He stressed that many minds were wasting
simply because they lacked someone to pay their
school fees.
The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof.
Ekundayo Alao, in his address said the
institution produced 18 first class graduands.
He added that while 124 students graduated with
second class upper degrees, 78 got second class

If Davido dad can break some yokes of poverty among his people I think he have achieved his dreams more than Dangote. Almost 100 percent scholarship. This is huge builder. We have to build people not poverty. God bless Dr. Deji Adeleke for this philanthropic works.

What a benevolent man, I was a beneficiary of the scholarship scheme for 4 years, not just in Adeleke University alone but he has extended His arms of benevolence to Other institutions as well, e.g Babcock University. More blessings Baba Olowo

there are series of evidence scattering every where. Come down to his country home in Ede land and see what he's doing and his gigantic university in Ede land. He has laid a good legacy for any body to follow. I can still say it boldly that he's fulfilling his dreams than Aliko Dangote. For Deji Adeleke to sponsored series of student in almost all the tertiary institutions in Nigeria and abroad I think it is dreams coming true.

I spent close to seven years in Ede, there was nothing of such. Well, if all this aforementioned acheivements are genuie, he should keep the good work going and some of our top pastors and business tycons should also follow suit

may be you don't make enquiiries about the scholarship program. Even the late isiaka Adeleke do it in his life time. The family are good on their philanthropic project. Even someone that beneficial about the scholarship program have testify about it. Make enquiries please.
