Some of the smartest people in the world like Shakespeare to mention but a few were not good spellers, even chinuea achebe ,chimamanda etc have a team of editors that go through their works, correct spellings and punctuation before publication. Or should we talk about doctors, engineer and some science students who are very good at their job but still can't spell correctly. Since when does spelling become a yard stick for gauging smartness?
